Re: RIP....Jesco White
My condolences to his family and friends. Being one of the earlier members on the site, it will definitely be different on SEOPS without him.
RIP young man, may your family cherish your memory.

Re: Boys D4 Valley/Meigs
Pebbles and Fairfield seem to be the early season favorites.
If anyone has the time or knowledge it would be interesting to see the records of all teams at each sectional to have a better understanding.

Re: West
I can't speak for certain on the issue as I wasn't there. However, I really have trouble believing Persin would film. He's a legendary coach for a reason, and having a guy video tape from his phone isn't why. Again, I'm not saying he did/didnt do it as I have no idea. But you described him as up top...

There's also a good spell check that you may not have utilized. It may come in handy late in the season!

Re: SOC Previews
In the SOC 1 I was impressed with Eastern and Notre Dame. In the SOC 2 I was impressed with Minford and Oak Hill. With that being said, previews never really gives us that good of an indication as to how the league will shape up. In my many years of attending, I've seen teams win the preview game ea...

Re: OVC 2013-2014
Who was the guard that moved out of South Point and where did he go?
I was told this summer that South Point had a big kid move in that was pretty impressive. I haven't personally seen him so it could just be rumors. Did they get a big kid in?

Re: Minford High 2013
What type of JV team did Minford have last year? The jump to Division 2 could hurt the Falcons but if they have a lot of depth perhaps that would ease the transition. I went to the Burg/Minford game and a couple Minford folk were saying that McCray may not even play basketball this year because of h...

Re: SOC CONTENDERS
Your argument on freshman isn't exactly relevant when the team won the conference title. Also, whoever said West has 4 freshman that could start varsity at basically anywhere in the county couldn't be more wrong. I still think Wheelersburg is the best team in this league and Webster is a year away f...

Re: Wheelersburg Pirates 2013-14 Basketball Season
It will be interesting to see how the Pirates play after almost 20 years of Barrick at the helm. I've seen the football team play this year and they definitely have a shot at a deep tournament run, something that could effect at least the early stages of the season. What is their schedule looking li...

Re: Southeast District Division III - Only 2 Sectionals
That Linden McKinley team was very fun to watch, remember them playing like it was yesterday. Kids played with a ton of heart. Nonetheless, the "super sectional" is definitely in play here. Will be interesting to watch the Sectional Final games of each sectional because the Waverly section...

I don't know a whole bunch about this league compared to others but... I hear Symmes Valley returns a good amount of talent. Notre Dame graduated some players but they're having a very successful football season and Mader is a good coach, they'll definitely compete. Didn't Western return a lot of ta...
