Re: REDS @ DODGERS 10:15 p.m.

The Reds' key to winning this series with a sweep or even a 2-1 series win is exactly what you mentioned, keeping their bats hot. If this does not happen, they'll have to rely on their pitching to keep them in games, and without Harang or Volquez starting a game in this series, I don't see a good ch...

Re: Gallia Academy at Chillicothe - Sectional Final - 5/15

A very reliable source has just told me that this game will resume paly at the VA on saturday at 10 AM.

They will pick up from where they left off tonight as Gallia was up 7-6 with runners on first and third with 2 outs.

Gallia Academy at Chillicothe - Sectional Final - 5/15

Chillicothe comes into this game bouncing back from a 4-3 victory over Warren after a long bus ride.

Gallia comes in after a victory over the Athens Bulldogs as they beat them at home 5-1.

Any thoughts on this showdown in Chilli?

Re: Chilly 10 Jackson 8

chilltown is right yet again lol The Cavs handed Jackson their first SEOAL league loss and it was another good ballgame to watch. The defense was, again, well-rounded committing I believe only 2 errors (better than its usual 6). At the plate, Cody Speakman singled in 2 runs, WJ Corzine knocked in a ...

Re: Gallipolis v Chilli : Ironton v. Portsmouth MondayApril 14

chilltown is right, the score was 9-6 Gallia as the Blue Devils committed 5/6 errors as a team. I can't remember the exact number lol The Cavaliers pounded out 6 runs on 7 hits and 2 errors as their defense improved mightily from the last game they played. Alex Grow was 3-4 at the plate, Cody Speakm...

Re: SEOAL outlook for 2008

No?? Not a crystal ball but portsmouth has already lost two league games to Chillicothe and Ironton, they have to play those teams twice more. So, they won't go 9-3 in my opinion, 6-6 is more like it. And, as far as Chillicothe goes, they have more talent then a 6-6 league record, thats just a given...

Re: SEOAL outlook for 2008

Chillicothe definitely should be able to contend this year. With 8 of 9 starters back, they definitely have the talent, and I agree with chilltown, it will all hinge on their pitching. If they can be consistent on the mound and on the field, they will be able to contend with anybody in the SEOAL. Th...

Re: Chillicothe player injured

The player's name was WJ Corzine, he's a OF/P, he's fine after 300 stitches and a long night at the hospital. This kid is tough, he will hang in there.
