Wiefrich is way above all in southeast ohio in 3200. Look for him to place high at state.

Weef will run low 4;20 or better. Roush and Richards from warren will be under 4:40.

Re: SOC Predictions

I think he is a 16 minute guy. He has changed his race strategy this year and has became a lot better. Before, he would take it out in front of the leader no matter who was in the race. Now, he sits back and finishes real strong. This has allowed him to run under 17 several times this year. He'll b...

Re: SOC Predictions

the actual time he ran at shawnee was a 16:26 and saturday at piketon he ran a 16:43. I do believe he is a 16 minute runner. I do believe Piketon is one of fastest courses in Ohio up there with Tiffin. Shawnee has ZERO hills what so ever I know 17 guys who ran 16:30 there. Kamler ran 18 at Rio whic...

Not taking anything away form Kamler but I heard that the results at Shawnee were mess up. I have seen him run he is not a 16:36 guy. As for his other results they are correct and he is doing well this season.

Re: RIO INV.

The girls race was crazy. Peyton ran a PR of 18:45 and 2nd place girl from hurricane Alex Dent was right behind her 18:55. Top 5 were under 20:00. On the guys side Liston ran away with it finishing in an Impressive 16:12. He very well could go under 16 at districts weather permiting. David Caldwell ...

Re: RIO INV.

The way I read it, and what it does mean is. . . AS GOOD AS GALEN WAS. It didn't say anything about Galen as a freshman. Adrian has not yet accomplished anything compared to Galen. . . . Also we don't know how good Adrain is going to get. Jr. High times are getting better and better B/C of training...

Re: 2009 Season

Marietta's cross team is better than Warren's right now. But I still think Warren will out score them in the distance events by having Richards and Roush double. Who knows what Weef will run at SEOAL. He could win both 16/32 with no problem. Marietta's Sprint team is far better than Warren and Logan...

RIO INV.

The high school guys should be a good race. Brad Liston, the brag brothers, Jeremy Anderson and other talented individuals will be there. Hopefully Anderson has recovered from mono. Liston has been runing 16:20's lately.

Re: 2009 Season

Just thought I'd start one for all the real track fans out there. What are all your guys thoughts on the 2009 season. I look for the trojans to be one of the more dominant teams in Southeastern Ohio. Fairland and Piketon will be very dominant as well. Portsmouth returns their whole team from last y...

No way is jackson the toughest. Sure as far as state wide goes it's at the top but not southeast ohio. I would even put logan above jackson.

Re: SEOAL 2008

Rhu is not running as well this year as he did last season. He went under 17 last season I'm pretty sure. If get his stuff together he will win TVC without much effort. The alexander guy dose not impress me. Never even heard of the other guy Goode. Rhu made it to state in D2 last year. Unless he is ...

Re: Running in College?

4:44 is good enough to run at many small colleges in Ohio. Do you have one year left in high school? If so, is it fair to assume that you will get faster this year than 4:44? yes, i think that it is fast enough to run in college, but I wouldn't expect to run the mile/1500 in college. Try to find a ...

And also, I will throw out a number to everyone. 3,636.00 That number is the amount of dollars it costs to go to shawnee per semester. So, what is that, just over 7 grand for one year of school. Adding Financial Aid, that figure goes down under 1000 for most students. That does not include housing,...
