Went to the game. Great job by Valley. Minford had long periods where they controlled but really never had any serious shots on goal beside the 2nd one which was a stunner.

North Adams is having a tough year. Good Coach but has only been at the helm 2 seasons and he is in a building year.

So what is the prediction on Valley and Minford? I saw on OSSCA that Valley is undefeated (1 tie with SW). Everything you see on Minford looks impressive with only Waverly being their Achilles heal - so why no chatter on this match-up?

Peebles over Fairfield tonight 4-0.
Peebles was up 2 at the half. Refs insisted the games (girls played after boys) be played with 30 minute halves. Wish more fields had lights around here! Fairfield had some good chances.

Peebles over Ripley 10-1.
Peebles looked good and had a starting field player out but you wouldn't know it. Ripley was missing the regular keeper due to an injury but he is supposed to be back soon. Without the regular keeper they gave up some good but save-able goals.

Peebles over North Adams 4-1
Peebles played flat. Had a ton of shots with most being right at the keeper or into the local cornfields! NA scored off of a set piece and drew the first goal. Clean game with no cards.

Considering that most of the other districts have a more urban base available and a host of private (IMO unfair) schools to be involved to those levels is encouraging and speaks to the level of soccer played in our corner of the state. Thanks!

Peebles 2 - Zane Trace 1 - Excellent soccer game. Two very good teams.

Eastern Brown 0 - Fayetteville 3 Multiple shots on goal by both teams but Fayetteville really controlled the better part of the game.

Eastern Brown over North Adams 4-1. Red card on the NA Keeper over attitude, Multiple Yellows...NA played them well and only gave up one goal after being down to 10 players.

Anyone know the NA Zane Trace score from 9/8/12?
