Most people will look at the win-loss records but Fairland should be the number one seed. They have beaten Wheelersburg and split with Ironton. They absolutely destroyed Oak Hill. I am calling it now that Fairland will be district champs for the 4th year in a row.

If Gallia Academy was playing in the OVC this year, its record would be 1-5 thus far. People have said for years that GA would be in the running for a conference championship in every sport if they joined the OVC. Obviously, that's not the case. It was consistently bad for both teams through the first five innings. After that, the calls were definitely going to Notre Dame. I really liked the fastball that bounced in the dirt that was called for a strike.
