No. Waverly lost. Got beat fairly badly actually. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, Burg only got the Ironmen by 1 point, they are a good team. Surprised the refs haven't been thrown under the bus yet.

Good luck to the Ironmen, wear yourselves out tonight in a triple OT game. Probably ought to full court press also the entire game, and not sub out much. ;) Hopefully the kid's sore back from football season at Unioto is all healed up. It is but now mine is hurting. Jackson beats Burg at something once every 5 years.

That once was about 2-3 months ago, so Burg takes this just from a statistical and probability analysis.

All I have to say is no matter what happens in this game Jackson is lucky they didn’t play us in football this year. Would’ve broken up that perfect season for sure. If Minford plays the way they have all season they’ll be just fine. It’s hard to find a team at the high school level that is as solid as they are in every aspect (hitting, fielding, pitching, team speed) They just put to much pressure on teams when they’re on base with all the speed. I agree with the above, this will be a tough game. Burg is used to these kind of games and post-season play, but this year does have a little bit different feel to it. PV appears solid, but I like our chances so calling it 7-2 Burg.

How long does Cinderella last before the clock strikes midnight? Thrashing of the #1 seed followed by 2 exciting walk-off wins - that magic usually doesn't last forever. I think Athens takes care of business tonight though. Call it 6-3.
