Re: Ohio SE All-District Football team
Pappy1 I totally agree. All of the other districts have two complete teams and honorable mention. The SE Ohio All District is a popularity contest. No respect for the linemen. The people that put this together for Southeast Ohio should be ashamed. Please get this corrected !!!! I have read that we ...

Re: Seniors receiving college looks
^^^^^ I aplogize to anyone that thinks my post in anyway was attempting to put a damper on this accomplishment. That goes double to the young man and his family. In most ways this appointment is more impressive than most D1 full rides. The student athlete has to excel in the classroom and as a leade...

Re: Ohio SE All-District Football team
Div III First team offense consists of 4 receivers 2 linemen 2 quarter backs 5 backs 1 all purpose 1 kicker total 15......two linemen? I thought the SEOAL selection process was bad.......this is worse. If they can justify putting that many receivers, QB's and backs, why can't they just add at least ...

In no way is the following statement meant to belittle JA.
JA would not have went undefeated in the SEOAL this year.

Re: D3 R12 Semifinal Jackson 7 vs. Jonathan Alder 28 Final S
I left after JA scored to go up 28-7. At that point Jackson had not punted. Fumbles, penalties and bad snaps stopped their offense, not JA. Jackson was physically the best team, without question. Congratulations on a great season.

Re: All SEOAL
Coaches can not vote for their own player - so the Jackson coach would not have been able to vote for either MVP. That adds evidence to bldvls5 scenario. Example GAHS and Warren coaches vote for Osburne Portsmouth and Logan coaches vote for Ervin Chillicothe coach votes for Taylor Jackson coach vot...
Re: All SEOAL
For sure their was lots of support behind the players on this team. Support from family, coaches, teammates, students and communiy. On the co MVP issue listed above, I just heard that there was a third place in the voting. Surprisingly it was a lineman.

Re: So long to Westerville sports
What happened with the lottery money makes me think about unintended consequences. Because they are "unintended" half of these consequences should be negative and half should be positive. When is the last time you heard of politicians doing something and there ended up being a positive uni...
Re: All SEOAL
First and foremost congratulations to all the players for being selected to the All-SEOAL Football Team. I do find it very interesting to see that there were two MVP's selected from the same team - Jackson. Knowing how the voting is done, unless it was changed this year, there is no way that there ...

Re: So long to Westerville sports
indianabuck.....you seem to be in agreement with the points GAHS83 made on this thread. I think most of us are also in agreement with both of you.
Re: All SEOAL
Congratulations to all the players who are being recognized. I find it interesting that there has been six hours elapsed since I first posted the team and there is not one complaint. Does this mean that everyone is in agreement with the selections? I will make the same complaint that I have made in ...

Re: So long to Westerville sports
We throw away students desks that have scratches on them and buy new ones. The reasoning is that it costs more to refinish them then to buy new ones. How about considering the desks that I used in 1947 when I started to school. They had initials carved in them from many years passed. That desk didn'...
