Re: Who is the toughest basketball coach in SE Ohio?
Hands down it all goes back to the Hall of Famer, Coach Wolfe. Was my coach in high school, Rick V from GM played for him and Howie was his long time assistant at Southern and he still is demanding as girls coach at Meigs. I had the pleasure of coaching under him at Meigs in the early 70's.

Re: Wahama (3-0) vs Buckeye Trail
Faulty research on my part; Buckeye Trail has not won a game. And it will be same after Friday night as Wahama roles ;

Re: Wahama (3-0) vs Buckeye Trail
All I know about Buckeye Trail is the last time Wahama played there, it was cold, blowing sleet and snow and mud everywhere as this is relatively new school complex. Research shows that BT beat Frontier by a touchdown or less and earlier this year, Frontier beat Miller from TVC easily and Frontier l...

Re: WK 5 (4-0, 1-0) Meigs @ (3-1, 1-0) Nelsonville-York
Like we used to tell players on the field running their traps at each other, "let the pads do the talking and just keep your mouths shut. Let the game be for the players. Almost agree with some of things happening on East Coast. Play the game before the student body and let the adults stay at h...

Re: Week 5: (4-0, 1-0) Meigs @ (3-1, 1-0) Nelsonville-York
Spent over 15 years as an official in SEO. Nobody is perfect or you wouldn't be on this earh. Officials make mistakes and some good ones admit to a mistake when they make it. But until you have been in their shoes and had to make he call in no less than a second or two. I really don't know Dave Bost...

Re: Wk 4 - River Valley @ Eastern
I have know Tyler since Youth football and is great young adult and has full support of both mon and dad. There must be a really good reason for dad to let him quit once he started.

Re: Week 4: South Gallia vs.Wahama
Went to Wahama reserve game this evening and my basketball players from the past all wanted to know if I was welfarewillie. I guess that was obvious since everyone at Wahama knows where I retired from. Even though I graduated from Orange and Black in 67, I have been converted over the years to the R...

Re: Week 4: South Gallia vs.Wahama
I can only hope that SG brings their track spikes since Eastern left them in Reedsville. Wahama has second set of backs in game last week in second quarter and they can run and score too.
I hope the score is reasonable but don't think that SG has the fire power to keep up with the speed of WHS.

Re: Best Juniors In The Area
Wahama has two class Juniors for small school. QB William Zuspan and Tackle, Kevin Klingensmith (6-2, 290) and plays both offense and defense. At running back, Micah Branch is second to no one. Very fast and extra hard hitter.

River Valley does not stand a chance but we are working on that in the Big Bend Youth Football League as have expanded to include River Valley.

Re: WK3 (1-1) Eastern @ (1-0) Wahama WV
All I can say is that Eastern better bring their track shoes. Wahama by whatever score Cromley wants it to be.
