No, I don't believe they will receive the win. There was a lot of rumors going around, but apparently their AD cancelled last night and didn't tell anybody. Maybe snow had something to do with it, not sure. Either way, there are no forfeit wins in high school basketball.

I know Jake Gray had 25 and Braden Jones had 24 for Alex.

Elena Lein has been sick. Only scored 4 points in the game. Definitely hurt them without an inside presence. Big runs by VC to open up each half helped them surpise in the TVC-Ohio opener.

Spartans play @ Burg on Monday

Alexander wins their first ever girls tournament game with a 3-2 win over North Adams. Abby Yazdani nailed a 35 yard free kick with 7 minutes remaining to seal the W. Spartans will face #1 seed and only twice beaten Clay in the sectionals finals on Saturday at 1pm
