It's really hard to say.
Goode may make the team his first year.
But Adkins and Skidmore may play back up roles to some other runners this year.
Or everyone could be in the top 5 of their new teams it's hard to say.

Re: Running in College?
Goode is good enough to run in college. I don't know about Division I or II but certainly NAIA. Rio's men's distance is on the up and up. They have had two really strong recruiting classes in a row. Coach Bowles is really helped with recruiting. If they can keep their runners healthy, they could ha...

It's nice to see some of these stats. I expected the TVC to do better in shot.
Good luck to all the "smaller apples"

Re: SEOAL-2009-Updates
Maybe they can't?????????? I remember a few years ago they showed a film of a high school race in Florida where they gave the winner to the person that came in second. They didn't change it even when they had their mistake on film. If I remember right I'm not sure they can change it. Cameras/video ...

That's sad, but I think he is making a good decision.
Chillicothe isn't paying him to throw, so I think taking care of himself is a very good idea.
I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Re: When IS the TVC-Conference Meet?
On the boys side Athens should run away with the league. Meigs and Nelsonville/York to fight it out for 2nd.I will say the field events will pull the Buckeyes into 2nd. On the girls side if you are watching from the stands it will look like the Belpre girls are running away with the meet but Athens...

Vales is really coming on strong now. I saw him at a meet a couple weeks ago and he only went 6'6.
I was afraid he might be losing his touch.

Re: What Schools in the TVC will send someone to the state in 09
Goode is a small college athlete. I doubt any DI school would give him a sniff, but a lot of NAIA and DIII school's would like to have him.
I could even see him at a DII institution like Ohio Valley U.

Re: Track Meet or Banquet ?
I was only affiliated with Southern High School for a little while, but there was no doubt as to what sport was king. One of the football coaches was asked not to talk about wrestling when he was there because it would have taken away from basketball. I can't really say much because NY has the same...
