Re: Belpre at Trimble
I have seen both play, and Wahama is noticeably better than Trimble. :12224
Re: assigner
No way Howie is going to let that happen. He has to hire his own officials cause he gets cheated on the road in the Hocking a lot. This way he can make sure the refs know who is in charge of the game, and it is not them. Pam wont go for it either. She gets the best umpires for softball and baseball,...

Re: Future TVC Divisions
We need to split the Hocking. Put RV in with Trimble, Wahama, Fed Hocking, Belpre and Miller if they hate themselves enough to want to play Trimble and Wahama every year. In the other division put Eastern, Southern, South Gallia and Waterford and let us pick up Hannan. Leave the Ohio as is. :12224

Re: Future TVC Divisions
Miller won't want to be in a league where they have to drive that far. The trip to Hannan would rival their trip to South Gallia. I believe if you start to slice and dice up the league people will leave. You may not care but what happens right now but if you are not careful down the road you get le...

Re: Future TVC Divisions
I agree with our AD that Wahama needs to be in a league in West by golly, and Trimble needs to move to the Ohio Division and put up or shut up. If not, it should be three divisions. She agrees with me, and says Southern and South Gallia are on board with this, that if we go to three our division sho...

Re: Week 3: Eastern @ Wahama
Pam is mad as hell about how Wahama ran the score up last year. She is sure this year the tables will be turned. If not, roll out the basketballs and I'll be on my way to watch Howie at Fed-Hocking. :12224

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
Why is Steegal sour on Eastern? Wasn't Coach Caldwell the one that wanted a change. Not sour on Easter, just those who claimed Eastern is better of without Howie Caldwell. I believe those people, and some like them, are the main reason he left. When Eastern was 4-1 those people were laughing and jo...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
^^^ WOW! If they are a good team then the last 5 or 6 teams they have played must be great teams. You folks were saying early in the year, during that 4-1 run, that you were glad Howie is gone, and this new coach is a better fit with the kids, and blah, blah blah. So don't come on here and act like ...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
So from what I am reading I can paraphrase you folks as follows: (You people get on here and praise the team when they are winning, then say they are not a good team when they lose 7 or 8 games in a row). I think that is what is called telling the truth. Also, did Howie ever beat a team and then lat...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
I think Fed is just better than Eastern. Coach britton is doing a fine jon with his boys Got beat at Fed on a last second shot, then get beat by Fed at home by 24 and you say he is doing just fine? I guess the rest of the league is glad he is doing just fine. I don't remember Howie losing by 24 at ...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
My boy didnt have time for those kids who dont want to pay the price it takes to make a deep tournament run. Its not his fault that there arent that many kids who are committed to excellence at eastern. The coach from Britain will figure this out in sectionals. One and Done......just sayin! Under t...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
After starting 4-1 with at least two wins against very weak teams Meigs and Alex, Eastern has turned into the team he thought it would. The only quality win is Southern and it was in Chester and the big time rival. I also noticed on channel 15 reply of last nights game that the JV team is now 1-9 o...

Re: Federal Hocking Lancers
You can trust one thought for sure. Howie will dominate the TVC Hocking now that he is at a school that truly promotes the basketball program. He will get the boys of FH to focus solely on basketball and win many championships in the process. So beware anyone who tries to get in his way. :12224

Re: Federal Hocking Lancers
Howie would have won many more games with what they had last year. Let's just hope he can repair the damage from the last coach quickly. He turned EHS around the first season he was there, so let's hope he can do the same with FH.

Re: 2011-12 Southern Tornadoes
Why did he leave Eastern? You would think a coach that had been somewhere so long would develop talent in the lower grades? I think he is a good coach , I would probably rank him fourth or fifth best to coach at Southern. Fourth or fifth? That is funny. I have seen your posts on here before, so I k...

Re: 2011-12 Southern Tornadoes
Southern didn't lose twice to Howie last year. Actually Howie is 3-7 in the last 10 games against the Tornadoes. He will own Southern now that he has talent again. He gets more from his players than any coach around. :12224 I think he has had some pretty talented teams at Eastern, last year they we...
