Re: Symmes Valley vs. St. Joe
Nice hard fought victory for the Flyers. The teams were evenly matched and the game could have gone either way. Both teams have a lot of room for improvement. Also, I was impressed by the good sportsmanship displayed by both teams. Good job Vikings and Flyers.

Thanks, P.A. We kid because we love. Seriously, I know a lot of effort goes into this (even though you do have a vested interest). Keep up the good work. We all appreciate it.

P.A., what's the deal? That's twice this year and the season is still young. Please don't make us have to depend on the Ironton Tribune for results. I'm not sure if they have gotten the results from the Ohio State / Michigan football game yet.

P.A., what's the deal with the Friday night game? The varsity Hornets are playing at St. Joe tonight. People can't be at two places at once.

Re: Rock hill at St. Joe
Very ugly, indeed. However both teams played extremely hard. The game could have gone either way. The Redmen are tough inside. They sort of got away from their strength. The Flyers are not very polished or diversified yet, but they sure do play hard. St. Joe had several opportunities to throw in the...

Blair needs to control his emotions to be effective running the point. Are you kidding me? He needs to control his emotions? That kid is a competitor. Do you want some lazy kid that doesn't care if he wins or loses? He was a Freshman last year and did a heck of a job. He'll be even better this year...

Coach Bowling is a good man that knows his sports. He also has a pretty fair 7th grade athlete that carpools with him to and from school.
