Kretzer's all-ohio red team won the state title this weekend, now headed to Florida and the nationals.

Some of you may have heard of Earl's passing. I only met him once, but he was a great guy. The football field at Huntington Ross is named after him and he founded the program there. His loss is a great one in southern Ohio.

He's probably going to have to sit out a year, but JMU is a good fit. Lots of former Ohio prep stars there that he knows.

OU-C hired former Hilltopper player and Unioto prep standout Jason Smith, btw. I believe he was an assistant at Adena for a few years before taking the job -- which has as many coaches recently than the NY Yankees in the 80s and 90s.

The people who made the decision won't even talk about how they voted or why they voted that way. Only the voters in the PV district can stop this type of stuff. Makes me wonder what else their hiding over there.
