Re: SEO (Passing Game)

Gallia Academy was fairly pass-happy for SEO during the Matt Bokovitz regime (02-09?). Jeff Golden set school passing records during that time. According to the gahssports.com website and Jottings' records located there, in 27 career games from 04-06, Golden finished with 4,167 passing yards; 271-fo...

Re: Ironton football: winds of change

kantuckyII ... Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but I wouldn't want to place less emphasis on any sport. Maybe just try to beef up some of the sports that are a little weaker. I think Lafon has done a pretty good job as AD. I agree, OSU77, that kids should be encouraged to play more than one sp...

Re: OSU season bad but maybe not over?

OSU might be forced to, as farmer put it, "roll the dice with Fickell" because the NCAA is not done with the Buckeye football program yet. It remains to be seen to what extent the NCAA will penalize OSU for the tattoo/memorabilia trading. I guess the lawyer who tipped off Tressel is facing...

Re: Mound Hill Cemetary road history?

Maybe the City Commission should install a lift system. They could charge $5 per person for funerals and $15 per person for all other activities, like the historical buffs who head to Mound Hill to walk the cemetery.

Re: Thanks to Roger Gray and WNXT....

Blu_n_Whyt is spot on in his assessment. If you want to keep prep sports on the air in your community, you need to support your local radio station. If you're a business owner, spend a little coin with the station from time to time. And, for pete's sake, don't turn down a sales rep if they come to yo...

Re: Changes in OHSAA VB tournament proposal, Your Opinion?

Great idea! Never gonna happen. OHSAA wants golf, volleyball, field hockey, cross country, tennis, and soccer out of the way ASAP so it can concentrate on the football championships. Not saying it's right. Just how it is. Watched the volleyball state finals on STO. Entertaining and exciting. OHSAA r...

Game's over. Why can't BOTH sides drop it?
Congrats to J-M on a fine season so far and good luck this week against Coshocton.
