good observation. Did you see where the guy is holding about 50=% in cash, as of 9/30/2008? Sounds like he will be bottom fishing a bit.
WS Journal did a good piece on your fund in tuesday's personal investor section.

Check this mutual fund out and give me your thoughts. HSTRX
I like MS at 15 and then resell again at 22. I think I will just eek out small wins. singles and doubles can sometimes win more than the big homeruns.

Re: IMF warns: Markets could collapse another 20%
Tobias: Got my 22 for Morgan Stanley today. It actually went to $24 today before falling off. $9/share aint to bad and Im glad i didnt get too greedy on that one. What do you think of a 120 day order on Morgan at $15? The market will re test the bottom, i believe. I really think we will re test 8000...

good stuff turkey.
Tobias:
Do you think it may be time to liquidate some US Treasury positions? Yields going up, is now the time to sell? I was thinking about gradually liquidating a few positions.

Re: IMF warns: Markets could collapse another 20%
dazed and confused: I dont think that is a bad play. Especially if you got out of the market, before the mauling. I believe this market to the upside will only be for those who do some great research and also get a tad lucky. One thing is for sure, if you stay on the sidelines until next summer, you...

Re: IMF warns: Markets could collapse another 20%
tobias, good move on friday. However, surely you are going to move back in a bit maybe on wednesday? Many so called experts are calling for a sale off tomorrow. I believe they will be correct, somewhat. Big boys will sell (actually I believe they may have sold a bit late in the day) but will bargain...

Re: IMF warns: Markets could collapse another 20%
We are finding the bottom. However, there are things that will occur over the next 24 months that will cause the market to be very volitile. I believe if one has cash on the sidelines, which is what the big boys like Buffett, etc have been doing, there are individual stock plays that will make some ...

Re: IMF warns: Markets could collapse another 20%
Actually I have it at 7200, so im pretty close to these guys. I guess i am calling for another 15% or so. Many others are calling the bottom at the 7900 or so that was reached last week. I think we open, up tomorrow, but I dont necessarily think we will close up for the day. The volitility is someth...

Re: Region 19 Div. 5
looks like the next two weeks could shake things up big time. Ironton vs Nelsonville. The winner of that game should get a home playoff game. Burg vs. West in week 10. Ditto my previous comments. Could we see West and Burg twice this season? Could we see Burg/ West vs. nelsonville? Its getting real ...

Tecumseh was no match for Simon Kenton. However, Russell will have 11 guys to Simon's one. I'll take Russell.

Ahh, the genius that is Rich Rodriguez. when you see a mirage and you crawl to it, you will drink the sand anyway. With the exception of the miracle they pulled off, beatting an obviously overrated Wisconsin team, they shouyld be 1-5. 2-3 in the big house. Ouch!! Dont worry rich Rod will get you bac...

Re: Ironton 8th grade
Actually, i was able to pull off my ruse until i was 24 years old. I officially retired from IJHS football in the fall of 1990. Actually i was a little disappointed that I was not called up to the varsity roster in 1989. Ironton won a state title in 1989, and that would have been real cool winning a...
