Do you know why Portsmouth was wrestling discontinued?

I can't think of anything much better as far as offseason training goes than wrestling, not that I'm really that great of a reference but it encourages strength, balance, flexibility, and toughness. I think it would be especially ideal for offensive and defensive linemen.

I'd like to see a Minford- Portsmouth game. I think these teams stack up well against each other. Portsmouth will be good next year, and anything short of playoffs would be a disappointment. It seems like this team was made for this season!

I thought we would win this past season, but with graduating so many KEY players from last year... things are really going to be up in the air between us, West, and Minford. It's definately going to be interesting to see how things play out. Can't wait P.S. Northwest will not win a conference champ...

If Notre Dame finishes 9-1, I'm pretty sure the world would explode by shear amazment that they had a winning record. If I'm not mistaken they have more golden footballs than any other area school, including burg. I'm not 100% sure about that, though. And don't forget about those two state banners ...

Tobias- it's great to see someone who still stays close to his boys, even if he isn't coaching them anymore. You must have been great for those guys. I think that a great program starts in the weight room. I'm confident that our boys will be just fine next year. It's a good sign that basketball is on board as well.

I've seen a lot of bad things happen when players have the wrong attitude, but from a pretty significant player I talked to today, we shouldn't worry too much about that...

The falcons have a very tough schedule, but I that if they outwork everyone else, they can replace what they lost. This season, like most, is all up to the team. They could go 10-0 just as easily as they could go 2-8 or even 0-10. I hope everyone else is as pumped as I am for another exciting season!
