Re: CLAY 08-09

Well i'm glad Clay has finally got a guard to go with that good point guard they have the tandem of Mershon and Valentine should be an interesting combo to watch. Hopefully soemone can light a fire under the asses of the big men.

Re: Best Gurad Tandems Southeast Ohio

Really if you look at it Portsmouth when Forrest Johnson is healthy you have Bendolph, Horne, and Johnson. What coach won't want the starting five that portsmouth has " Bendolph, horne, johnson, williams, and cadogan".

Re: MINFORD @ CLAY TUESDAY

Yabba brings up a good point about the weight room. Does Clay even have a weight lifting program? Like he pointed out, most of the schools that Clay will be playing this year have football, and since your best athletes usually play almost all of your sports, they will facing kids that been in weigh...

Re: MINFORD @ CLAY TUESDAY

Clay started three sophomores and two seniors. T.J, Jon, Cody, Nathan, and Shawn. The digger in the game was the first half if clay would've played better i think they could've won the game. But from way they looked last night they should do pretty good this season.

Best Shooters

Who do you guys think are the best shooters in SOC1 or SOC2?
ME i think Kayla Wiley from NEW BOSTON. But i have to give KUDOS to Tori Osbourne from CLAY. Would include the girl from SW but i heard she's injured or something. So who do you think is the best shooter?

Re: Lady Panthers

Yeah Katherine is pretty good. Also doing a good job of taking Injured Laura Belcher's place but i don't think Katherine will keep it for long through not with Laura's impressive defense.

Re: Lady Panthers

Well they lost to New Boston Thursday. They stayed in it in the first half but fizzled out in the second half. I don't know what happened but I know of one clay player Sarah Castle having a bite mark on her shoulder. She told me one of NB players biting her. Now I'm not a referee but i think thats i...

Re: CLAY 08-09

After the first game the leader pf the team should be the Mershon Boy from what i heard before he got in foul trouble he was all over the floor. Which shows he has the hustle that drives a team. Now if he can motivate some of the other guys..... aka the BIG guys maybe tonight will be different. And ...

Re: WESTERN INDIANS 08-09!!

All i'm going to say is Western Indians SOC 1 Champions. But for some unknown reason I don't think they are going to make much of a tournament run. The past couple of years they have been known to do really good in the regular season then lose in the tournament too early.

Re: CLAY 08-09

Well Clay lost another senior for tonight's game. Brandon Puckett is out for tonight's game because of getting in trouble at school. Again it's a maturity issue clay is going to have to fix if they are going to be god this year. :(

Re: who will be surprise players this year?

T. J. Mershon is going to surprise some people for his quickness and he can handle the ball real good. But he's a average shooter through but if he can work on his shooting and get better he can have a hayday against poor defensive teams. When he focuses and plays defense he's very hard to shake and...

Re: CLAY 08-09

Well one day until the season opener against Northwest and everything is falling into place. And from what i've heard Gabe is getting back to form from his ankle injury so he'll give some much needed firepower. I'm looking forward to see the Puckett kid to show people what a real shooter is. it's go...
