Re: 2018 East Tartans Football Outlook
Your probably right but that begins to open a can of worms for OHSAA. I’m surprised they allow OHSAA team to schedule an in state opponent like that. Thanks for the update. Not a problem, but i think they see it as when teams play other schools from other states forinstance playing a ky school or w...

Re: 2018 SVC Football Offseason Talk and Outlook
I don’t see how Western can maintain a varsity 5eam, they are such a small, poor, rural school. I wish them luck. They've been working towards the varsity aspect of it. I know this past season they've had pee wee teams, junior high. I think in 2018 they are just getting ready to start getting into ...

Re: 2018 SVC Football Offseason Talk and Outlook
The Soc II is probably the strongest football league in the area, but, only having 5 teams makes it a non conference scheduling nightmare! I am not bashing anyone, just pointing out that the Svc knows it isn’t a football juggernaut, but looks at the entire body of work in both boys and girls sports...

Re: 2018 SVC
As to the SVC, if it is not broken, do not fix it. The conference is the most stable in south central / south east Ohio. The biggest issue is competitive balance, as talent levels ebb and flow in small schools. Yet a usually mediocre football school, Southeastern, rose up and won the conference cha...

Re: 2018 Waverly Tigers Football Outlook
That will be the big thing is the production lost on offense defense and even special teams, the younger players that saw playing time last season saw and experienced what it was like to be successful, so hopefully they continue to improve before wk1 against Piketon

Re: 2018 SOC 2 Football Offseason Talk and Outlook
Realistically I do not see the SOC voting out Burg. What conference would they even join that would make sense? The OVC is the only one that comes to mind and makes sense Wheelersburg is a good draw economically but the playing field in it's current state isn't level or fair to the other member sch...

Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
Will be interesting to see how Piketon will play against Waverly. Waverly lost a lot of significant players on both sides of the ball, even special teams
