Two of Coal Groves alumni transfers to Ironton long ago. Rick McKnight and Tim Collins. What does the Village think about that. When in school they wouldn't give you 3 cents for Ironton.

Kitchen played at Ironton. Definitely one of the best if not the best that played there. Great shooter and rebounder.

Heard over the weekend that Charlie Kitchen turned down the HOF induction. Wonder why. Didn't know him personally but know he was a hell of a basketball player

The OVC is the weakest football conference in ohio bar none. There's only one team in that conference and that's Ironton

An Ironton past football great Bruce Carter passed away this morning. Bruce was a GOOD one and played
a tough schedule. Bruce should have been inducted into the Ironton Athletic HOF long before his death. He was and is a very deserving athlete for the HOF without question.

The compitition that Trey played against didn't do him any favors as far as recruiting. Southern ohio is not the hot bed of basketball.

That's great that Davis is back..He does a good job. He may be tough on kids but a little old school toughness isn't bad. Kids to pampered today and parents interfere to much
