I don’t know a lot about these teams, is this as surprising as it seems to me?

Defense looking terrible in coverage out there.

Greenup County scores with 0:16 to go in the half to tie Portsmouth 15-15

Greenup County just woke up , Portsmouth up 15-7 with 10:44 to go in the half.

Portsmouth with a Williams keeper, up 14-0 with 11:53 to go in the 2nd quarter.

Williams is 2/2 to start the game. If he can develop into a web who can pass enough to keep defenses honest it could be a huge difference maker for this team.

Portsmouth up 8-0 over Greenup County with 6:30 to go in the first quarter.

Sounds like it will be a quick game if nothing else. Neither team seems to have much ability to air out the football.

I understand Williams is a freshman, making his 2nd start. But if he can’t throw the ball find someone who can. The offense is so one dimensional it’s not even funny. Defense is absolutely gassed.
