Re: Week 2: Warren (1-0) at Morgan (1-0)
On a side note, does anyone know if this game will be streamed?

Re: Week 2: Warren (1-0) at Morgan (1-0)
I have watched both teams and I am very familiar with Morgan. The last two contests, which I predicted Morgan would prevail, was because Morgan was more physical. This year that is not the case. I do not believe either team will be able to line up and run the ball without successfully establishing ...

Re: Week 2: Warren (1-0) at Morgan (1-0)
I came away impressed with Warren last night. While they did lose Williams and Taylor, this almost seems like it could be one of those "addition by subtraction" deals. Sealey may actually be an upgrade at QB, and that stable of running backs led by Carr was big and physical. You can tell ...

Re: Week 2: Warren (1-0) at Morgan (1-0)
Morgan was a playoff team last year that beat Warren. They are way better this season. Warren lost some studs. I don’t think this game will be all that close. True. They lost their two best offensive linemen and their best RB as well. The game last year wasn’t a blowout by any means and we didn’t g...

Re: Week 2: Warren (1-0) at Morgan (1-0)
Competitive game. Our new QB looked very good for a debut, even though Belpre was bad. Offensive line got push 5-8 yards downfield consistently. Defense was fast and physical. Both teams appear to be improved, but I’ll take Warren by 6 in a close game from start to finish.

Re: What's going on at Warren?
So you lost your best player and your multi year starting QB and 5-6 other serviceable players and you don’t see an issue with that? That’s what I’d change about your program. Instead of running kids out of the program keep the serviceable kids because you’re only as good as your weakest link, That...

Re: What's going on at Warren?
Find the nerve to explain to me what points you strongly disagree with.? I’d be happy to. First, we didn’t lose one of our best assistants. Ask the 2020 team you referenced. Their answers would shoot some holes in that theory. If mentality and philosophies don’t mix, the HC can keep or get rid of w...

Re: What's going on at Warren?
I’d argue Warren lost their best assistant and their two best players so when I sit back and analyze what’s happening at Warren. I don’t think anyone can confidently say Warren is in a better place today with changes that were made. That’s not even counting the other 4-5 other players who could hav...

Re: What's going on at Warren?
By saying no one forced them to go is the whole problem. Ask any one of the kids who left if they were or weren’t forced out by something and I’m sure they will all have the same or similar reason. Seniors just don’t quit a sport after playing it for 10+ years, or transfer to other schools to play ...

Re: Scrimmage Results
7 wins for Warren in a perfect world? Or that’s what you actually believe? If we stay relatively healthy, then it’s attainable. If not, then no. Our best 11 on both sides are good football players that can compete with anyone on our schedule. The problem is depth. A few injuries would complicate th...

A few injuries would complicate things dramatically. I don’t disagree, athletically Warren always has talent ...

Re: Scrimmage Results
All I did was tell the score. Didn’t bad mouth anything. You’re the one getting all defensive about stuff. And I said was you’ll probably have the rundown with stats etc. Im not that technical. I don’t recall saying anything negative? Honestly, I do see Warren winning 4 or 5 games if they stay heal...

Re: Scrimmage Results
You seem to think Warren didn’t lose any players from last years team? Those games last year were close or winnable because you had kids like Jason Williams playing defense and a QB who kept teams honest with the passing game. Williams was pretty good down the stretch last year. Not too many RBs pl...

Re: WK 1: Fort Frye @ Marietta
Fort really did move the ball well with some basic offensive plays they just couldn’t get big first downs. Only ran like 2 pass plays. They didn’t play well they need to come up more fired up. This is first ever TSL game in football. Marietta running the wing T plays into the Cadets hands. I’ll tak...

Re: Scrimmage Results
After seeing what Morgan did to Fort Frye I wouldn’t put that in the win column. Fairfield Union, Logan, Point, and Cambridge (after shutting down Marietta the other night) will be legit. I can bet Warren isn’t walking into Beverly and winning. I’ll say Belpre, Marietta and Alexander will be wins b...

Re: WK 1: Fort Frye @ Marietta
I think this one will be closer than I first anticipated, but it’s hard to go against Fort Frye in this game. Classic example of a program learning to win and compete and a program that expects to win. Hopefully it’s a great game.
