Southeast Ohio All-District Banquet

The SEOTCA will be sponsoring the annual All-District banquet next Monday the 10th of November at 6pm at the Jackson Ponderosa. This banquet is open to the All-District Runners, their coaches, and their families. Athletes will order off the regular menu for the Ponderosa. There is no need to RSVP this year. Athletes will be honored with printed certificates, and athletes and coaches of the year will receive plaques.

Please make sure that your coaches are up to date with their dues, or that they bring dues to the banquet for the current year.

It is a list of all the runners that earned all-district honors. You get on the list by placing in the top 16 at the district meet. If you are on the list, you are invited to attend the banquet where you will be given an award.

Really. I maybe USH_Coach will get on and give us an answer. I was 16th one year and a couple other guys that finished behind me also got an award, so you maybe right. I assumed they adjusted the advancing teams out.

I think the all-district banquet is a fairly big deal (it was for my HS team) and would assume that the majority off the athletes would show up, but it also runs into B-ball season and some athletes don't come.

I know that Adrian Ross, Brad Liston, Lauren Adkins, Peyton Adkins, Emily Skidmore, and Hannah Shull were in attendance.

I can assume since Coach Paxton runs the show that a lot of the Unioto runners went.
