Senior Marlen Langedal returns with the 6th best jump or 2013 [depth problem]

Shot put

Emma Ryan is the top return in the shot--[should be at the state]

Pole Vault

Raelyn Gardner has the 2nd best vault coming back [with what Warren does in the Pole Vault she could win this]

Doesn't look like Warren will have a lot of depth and not a lot of help from the Middle school coming up.
Hurdles, Discus, Shot put, Pole vault look to be Warren's strong points. Will need to replace two runners in each relay with finishes of 2nd,3rd,1st and 3rd in 2012. Could be a 4th place finish for warren in 2013

Portsmouth

4x800 Portsmouth needs to find some runners from last years last place--Depth might be the problem here

100 hurdles--Junior Tyarra Barnes and Alex Tucker both have a chance to pick up points with a 4th and 7th best times coming back from the league

100 Meters--Junior Tyra Underwood brings the 8th best time back--[no depth]

4x200--Underwood, Senior Tyler Mallory and Tyarra Barnes return from a 5th place finish

1600--Senior Ashlyn has the 6th best time returning--[no depth]

4x100--All four starters return in Barnes, Tucker, Underwood and Mallory 5th place--these four need to lower times and this could move them up a couple slots.

400--Hurting in this event. need to fine someone to bring some points

300 Hurdles--With some work Alexis Tucker could be in the hunt for some good points--[depth a problem]

800 Julia Sturgill has the 4th best time returning-- need to fine someone to bring some depth and flow over into the 4x800

200-- not much depth here Tyler Mallory will have the 8th best time coming back

3200--also hurting here

4x400 needs some work to move up from last years last place finish

Discus--Carlee Damron has the 7th best throw coming back--[no depth]

High Jump Velsha West needs to improve to get so points--[no depth]

Long Jump another event the girls are hurting in

Shot Put--West will also need to step up here too-[no depth]

Pole Vault--Julie Sturgill and senior Kandace Hampton have a good chance to bring the points

Portsmouth needs to find some depth and don't know for sure if the up coming from the middle school can help
Strongest events look to be--4x100/4x200/800 and the pole Vault. With a little found depth these girls could fight for 4th place.


Logan

4x800.....Soph. Grace Seibel, Junior Katie Driggs, Senior Ashley McCort and Soph. Alexis Snyder all return from a 1st place finish in 2012.

100H....Jr. Britany Smathers #3 --Jr Sydney Hunter #5 return

100M.....Soph. Chloe Dietzel #5 And up coming freshman Taylor Myers should bring points

4x200.....Stimmel, McCort,Snyder return from a 2nd place finish--Freshman Taylor Myers could be the 4th girl

1600.....Soph. Emily Starlin #4 and #5 Kristen Harden along with two freshman --Hoellick and Eggleston should battle for points.

4x100.....Stimmel, McCort, Dietzel return from a 4th place finish--Taylor Myers could be 4th girl here too.

400.....Sydney Hunter #7 and two freshman Brianna Jackson, Nicole Wilcox will compete for points

300H.....Soph. Jessie Tirpak #3

800M.....Alexis Snyder #1 and #3 Katie Driggs return

3200.....Stralin #4 and Tabitha Bigham #5 return

4x400.....Seibel, Simmel, Snyder return and Taylor Myers could be the 4th girl

Discus.....Abby Rose #4 and Amber Myers #6 return and both are soph

High Jump.....Dietzel #1 and freshman Grace Libben should get big points

Long Jump.....Best jump going back will be freshman Taylor Myers and 2nd best jump will be Siebel

Shot Put.....Rose #3 and #5 Tristen Vanbibber return

Pole Vault.....Siebel #3 returns

Logan should be strong in all four relays, 800, and could place two girl in the top 6 in 10 events.--Logan should push Chillicothe but will finish a strong 2nd.With Logan having three straight Middle school championships the cream will start coming to the top in 2013


Jackson

100Hurdles.....Don't see anyone in the top 8 from 2012

100 M.....Soph Kyle Shasteen has the 3rd best time of returns from 2012

4x200.....Kennedy Shasteen, Cheyenne Yates, Mallory McCorkle and Haley Swackhamner all return from a 6th place finish in 2012

1600.....No top 8 from 2012

4x100.....Shasteen, McCorkle, K. Swackhamner and Payton Swackhamner return from 2012 #6

400.....Junior Page Bailey #8 return from 2012---Might get help from freshman Johnson

4x400.....All four starters return--Allen, Edelman, Wiseman and Watts/Watts may not run this because of other events-Look for a freshman to step in for her

High Jump.....weak here too

Long Jump.....# 2 Allen and #4 Breanna West

Shot Put.....will have trouble getting points here

Caldwell # 5 and West # 7 might be bump down with other teams freshman

Gallipolis should be strong in 400, 4x400 could score high in 100m, 1600, 800,200,3200, but no depth--The field events will be the low point for Gallis with nothing showing too well other than the long jump and this could get bumped down with freshman from other teams coming up.I see Gallis taking 3rd


Chillicothe

4x800.....Soph. Casuandra Parker, SR. Emily Gray and Megan Sparks return from a 5th place 2012 finish

100H.....Elaine Wilson returns with the 2nd best time-depth might be a problem

100m.....Sr. Megan Osborne returns with the best time/ Cavs might have to go with Kemper for depth

Chillicothe once again looks to take high points in several events but depth good hurt. Chillicothe will only win the league in 2013 if they stay healthy
