TVC Out Look for 2013--Girls

Alexander Girls

The girls from Alexander finished 7th in the TVC meet last year and may not improve on that for 2013

4x800.....One of the stronger points this year with two runners back from a 2nd place finish.

100 Hurdles.....not a very strong point here with the 12th best time coming back.

100 Meters.....not too much speed here with the 11th and 19th best times coming back.

4x200.....This could be a big point getter here with all four rnners coming back from a 7th place finish

1600M.....This might be the girls best event with the 2nd place finisher coming back.

4x100.....Also 4 runners coming back from a 7th place finish

400 meters.....With a little improvement two girls could finish in the top 8 with the 7th and 9th best times coming back.

300 Hurdles.....Going to have to really push to get point here with the 11th and 12th best times coming back.

800 Meters.....Two average runners coming back at 8th and 11th best times.

200 Meters.....The 6th place finisher is returning.

3200 M.....A sure big point getter here with the 2nd best time from 2012

4x400.....Will have all four runners returning that FS last year.

Discus.....Doesn't look too good here with the 15th and 19th best throws coming back

High Jump.....looks good here with the 3rd best jump coming back.

long Jump.....Another field event where the girls should pick up big points with the 5th best coming back.

Shot Put.....need some work here 9th and 15th best coming back

Pole vault.....Do not see much in this event.

Athens Girls

The girls from Athens finished 2nd in 2012 and with most of those girls back it looks like a TVC championship if their field event don't bite them.

4x800.....All runners back from a 1st place finish last year

100 Hurdles.....Not real strong here but a real good chance to have to in the top 8 with the 4th and 9th best coming back.

100 Meters.....A chance to pick up some high points here with the 4th and 6th best times coming back.

4x200.....3 returning from a 4th place finish.

1600.....Very young but strong here with the 1st and 4th best time from 2012

4x100.....3 back from a 1st place finish in 2012

400.....Two girls should pick up points here with the 5th and 8th returning

300 hurdles.....3rd and 11th returning

800.....Another chance to have to girls place in the top 8

200.....Could be just one girl getting points here

3200.....Also young and strong here with two girls placing.

4x400.....All return from a 2nd place finish in 012

Discus.....might be the weakest event here.might be hard to pick in points up here

High Jump.....Another weak spot but look for one girl to place in the lower 4

Long Jump.....A little weak here too with another finish in the lower 4

Shot Put.....Two girls should pick up points in the middle of the pack

Pole Vault.....Probably will not pick up any points

Belpre Girls

The Belpre girls finish 4th in 2012 and will finish higher this year.Belpre should be strong in the field events and with Athens being weak they just might knock the girls from Athens out of a championship.

4x800.....Four runners back from a 7th place finish.

100 hurdles.....some big points here with the 3rd best coming back

100.....Should get some lower four points here

4x200.....four coming back here from a 5h place last year

1600.....This could be Belpre down fall here...14/18

4x100.....3 back from a 3rd place in 2012

400.....Another soft spot for belpre.....11/12

300..... Top four points here with one hurdler

800.....Should have one girl in the top 4

200.....Will need some work to get points here 10th

3200.....Both girls returning should pick up points but it could be in the bottom 4

Eastern

The girls from Eastern will perform good in a couple relays and the distance races plus the field events.Hurdles look good too. The sprints and lack depth will hurt them in defending their title.

100 meters.....Don't see much here

4x200.....all runners will return from a 1st place finish in 2012

Federal Hocking

The Federal Hocking girls finished 9th in 2012 and it doesn't look like they will move up. They will have the best shot putter in the league

Nelsonville York

NY finished 6th in 2012 and should move up a little this spring. If the Buckeyes can get some depth they good be there at the end

100 hurdles.....Should get top 4 points from one of the best hurdlers in southeastern, Ohio. With some work it is very possible to get some lower 4 points

Vc was 5th last year and I would say they move up some this season.--Should do well in the all the relays,100, 400, HJ, LJ, PV

I know the girl you are talking about but you will have to remember. Breeze is running a higher hurdle and she does that 2 seconds faster. That just might come out to a difference of 4 seconds.

That girl you are speaking of had very little hurdle training in jh and was doing off of natural ability. The high staff wil put much more time and effort into her for. I guess that makes 5 seconds faster so there we go. See how ridiculous it is?

I really did have an athlete approach me about reading his post and being offended how they were given no chance and negatively ut down in her efforts of last season. That's how she took replys predictions...as a put down.

CavsFan08: If the freshman coming in is running low 15's in the 100H, then she will definitely be competitive. That's awesome. How has she done in indoor this season?

I happen to know Breeze loves competition and feeds off of it. The tighter the competition, the better she preforms..example: 2012 Regional finals, came from 5th on the 3rd hurdle, to 1st. Chanda Cuckler was a huge factor in making Breeze a better hurdler, Chanda always beat her in the 100's, friendly competition at its best. Next year, they will be on the same team, as Breeze has signed with Ohio University.

Time will tell......looking forward to the outdoor season.

I don't think Noreply is disrespecting anyone. But if he was, an athlete can use that to fuel him/her to prove NR wrong. It's a harmless prediction based on available data. Breeze is a logical favorite in hurdles. It really is not a big deal. No one is getting over looked. Once the stats come in, he will post those as well. That is what I love about this sport. You can not argue too much with timed/measured events on a flat track. It is what it is. Be patient. The season is about to begin. The results will speak for themselves.
