Vinton County Cross Country 5K -- Saturday, July 12

The Vinton County Cross Country Teams will be hosting their 11th annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, July 12 at 9:00 A.M. Race day registration begins at 8:00 at the Old Vinton County High School on High Street in McArthur. The cost is $12.00 for adults 19 and older and only $10.00 for runners 18 and under. There aren't many races around at those prices. Shirts will be guaranteed to all who preregister by July 1 or the first 75 entrants. Last year we had 70 participants and a very competitive race for first place between this year's DII 3200m champion Galen Dills and Nelsonville's coach Stephen Ragg. Our goal for this year is 100 participants.
