The official word came out 1 month ago. It will follow an alphebetical rotation assuming the host school has the facilities to host the event.

It went from Marrietta, to portsmouth who would have passed because of no track, to warren who only has a 6 lane track, to Chilli, It is my guess that gallia will host it next year.

Did Jackson build a new track or is that in the works?

Right now you only have Chillicothe, Gallipolis and Logan that can hold the league meet--[Marietta did it last year and they are leaving]

No plans that i'm aware of to build a new track anytime soon. Jackson1 or Ironmen92 are more "in the loop" and i haven't heard anything from them concerning one.

I thought during last years track season someone had mentioned Jackson was going to build a new track that would be away from the football field.

Might have been some other school???????

Mr.No Reply, just thought i would tell you that you can take Tylor Stimmel and Brandon Graham off of the lists. I do not believe they plan to be a part of the program this spring. It will hurt our chances, but you know us, we will be doing everything we can to keep this program rolling.

I can't see Jackson building a new track anytime soon....but hope I am wrong. They wanted a softball field and tennis courts on the school ground......softball happened with a tremendous amount of volunteer work.

I've not heard one single thing about the track. Go back in time 8 years and maybe there is one going to be put at the new stadium. I don't think there is any room on school ground unless it is at the bottom of the hill on the 139 side.

Chilli boys will add max corcoran from amanda 800 meters, and jalen jones from gahana (hurdler) to the mix so that might help there cause.

Look for Marietta's dual threat in the shot/disc with the additions of Wes Gilkeson and Jon Sewell.

Look For Coy Blair to Sweep the Throws. Like always, Logan will score 20+ points in Throws alone

Look for Marietta's distance to do well. They will most likely score 20+ or more points in that area over Logan

Logan Will most likely win the League meet. Like they have done for the past 20 years. It's called domination.

Logan has a few senior that will not be going out this year so I look for Gallipolis and Marietta to push them.
Hope the freshman can come through

The league meet should be very exciting on the girls side. I see gallia, marietta and chilli squaring off on what could be a very close meet. Plus logans new female coach brings some more excitment to the program.

Maybe the league meet will be even closer than it was last year.
