Charles Farquar wrote:Orange and Brown if you go on http://www.throwfarther.com there is something that might be helpful that you can use in converting a kids standing throw to the range of what their full throw should be, might be helpful in setting some goals. The closer they are to the predicted upper range of distance the better the technique is, if they are not near it means they have the strength to throw it but the technique is not what it should be. I found it very interesting. Also if you go to http://www.baumspage.com you can find last years Districts and Regionals results to give you a ball park figure of what she will have to throw to be able to advance.

Thanks!! :-D

The Nelsonville-York Athletic Boosters just purchased a FinsihLynx Timing System. FinishLynx is the camera system that is used to run all of the state-sanctioned meets (districts, regionals and state). This will allow for consistency in obtaining and recording results and eliminate the human element involved in most meets.

This will be a very competitive meet!!

The shot and discus area are being built between the baseball and softball center fields. The shot will be throw toward softball's left field and the discus will be thrown straight out toward the back of the school.

Man did I miss the weather---I left around 8:30

It looked like Buren Union for the boys and Athens for the girls would win--They had big leads with about three things to go.

This was the first time I have been to Nelson-York to see the new stadium and it was really nice.A Lot to be pround of that area.
