Shayne Willis former Coal Grove...

Post by racenut70 »

athlete and Tyler Branch will be competing against each other on Jan.12 at Capital University in Columbus. They will be throwing indoor shot. They have been teammates for the last 6 years at Coal Grove. Good luck to both young men. It is great to see athletes from Lawrence County excelling in sports and academics at the next level.

Tyler finished 3rd and Shayne was 12th out of 36 throwers. We are very proud of both of these fine young men. Shayne will be throwing at Kenyon University on Sat. Jan. 19. I am not sure where Tyler will be throwing this weekend.

Youngstown St. is division 1 Horizon League, not OAC.

I was wrong, Youngstown was not at the track meet. We didn't make the trip up to B-W so I wasn't sure who was there. I checked the Otterbein website and it gave the list of teams.
