I see E. Skidmore winning the 3200 with Emily Dunfee in second

What is the "Well" in the headline for?

I didn't mean to put Well in the title

Skidmore will win 800, 1600, and 3200. She always runs great at the TVC meet.

Is it in N'ville York again?

I thought maybe you meant Wellston, but wasn't sure and typed anyway.

Skidmore will win the 3200 if she isn't too tired from the 800, and 1600

I forgot that Syd Shultz (sp?) of Athens is TVC this year. With an extra distance runner this year Skidmore could lose.

But then again Skidmore had to race Tornes last year and still won "the triple crown." haha

I would say Emily has the most individual career point in TVC history!

That is kind of an interesting subject. Is there anyway to look that up?

Actually Tornes beat Skidmore last year in the 3200 at the league meet. Tornes ran an 11:38 to set a new TVC record and Skidmore ran 2nd with an 11:46. Tornes then went on to run an 11:21 at the state meet, good enough for runner up honors.

The girls distance events at TVCs this year should be excellent competition. Yes, Emily Skidmore is an awesome distance runner.... but I also think that Emily Dunfee will give her a run for her money in the 2 mile and 1 mile. This girl has continuously gotten better and also made it to the state track meet in the 2 mile. Also, Jessi Drayer from Waterford has an awesome 800 and should be a good pair for Skidmore. The mile is also an excellent event for Drayer. Drayer has an outstanding kick at the end of her races that is rare for a distance runner. Syd Shultz is also a great addition to the TVC distance events.

I'm currently trying to collect results from all of the previous TVC track meets. I just started the other day, so it may take awhile. When I get there, I'll be sure to post.

Off the top of my head, in 2006 I think Skidmore won the 3200 with a second in either the 1600 or the 800 while winning the other. She also ran on the winning 4x800 relay. In 2007 she won all three individual events with a second in the 4x800. Last year she won the 1600 and 800 with seconds in the 3200 and the 4x800. I guess that makes eight gold medals. She has 72.5 first place points and 20 second place points (if I added correctly) for 92.5 total for her career.

Ashleigh Tornes was much better than Skidmore....hands down. I do believe that she placed 2nd in the state in the 3200 last year.....where was Skidmore??? :122245

Skidmore was in the D2 1600. Alexander moves up from D3 to D2 during track.

15 Jule Drahn 12 Eastern 3:06.24
16 Tammy Shifflet 9 Trimble 3:18.64

TORNES didn't run the 800 at TVC

Event 21 Girls 3200 Meter Run
=======================================================================
Stadium: S 11:38.73 5/15/2008 Ashleigh Tornes, Waterford
TVC: T 11:38.73 5/15/2008 Ashleigh Tornes, Waterford
Nels.-York: N 12:44.40 1994 Susan Crawford
Name Year School Finals Points

2 Emily Skidmore 11 Alexander 11:46.08 8
3 Emily Dunfee 11 Federal Hock 11:46.80 6

I was WRONG Skidmore didn't win the "triple crown," but if she hadn't run the 800, I do think that she would have beaten Tornes.

So lets not talk about me needding to get my facts straight. I was at the TVC and State. I made one mistake.

Ricky Gemstone - A 6 second victory while running fewer events doesn't qualify as winning with "ease." You are a joke and don't even compare to the likes of me or 4sporterEHS.

It would have been nice for you "confirm" your statement before being wrong and getting a laughing at two people who were mostly correct.

Next time "check your info" hahahahahahahahah

Skidmore placed 7th in the State meet in the 1600 meter race. And that was D2! Waterford was D3. So do not be so quick to conclusion when saying Tornes is better. I do believe finishing 7th in the mile in a higher division might be a better feat than 2nd in D3. 5:10, I believe, is a faster PR than Tornes.

Tell me please. How do I have to confirm my information? Did I ever say Emily beat Ashleigh in the 3200? I just said I think Emily Skidmore would have the most TVC point if someone did the math. And remember she has ONE more year left. A chance for 32 or so more point.

But if you want to debate. . . . .

Lori Roberts from Wellston back in 1979-1982 might be in the running for all-time points....I think she competed in the 100-200-400- and LJ and then went on to run for Rio. Wellston might have been in the SEOAL for a couple of those years though.

Oh I want to debate. Tornes was way better than Skidmore ever was or ever will be. Hands down Ashleigh is by far the better runner!!!
