The WV vs WV was cancelled. and WTAP will be airing this live on tv great fro the kids,. and Both Boarder brothers from Caldwell will be in the lineup, got the call from their coach last night, 103 is Cory Parsons respresenting Warren, and placed 6th at the disricts, I am trying to get every great kid I can but from Ohio side we have a lot of great kids,. So im sorry if I cant get everyone in this butPromise Next year they wont be left out. and I hope we can shine and beat Wv but remember this is for a great cause for families that lost Marines in this war... and Athens coach did call me this morning and hoping to get Joey at 171, be nice if I can get Carpenter from Sheridan the D2 state champ at heavyweight. Next year you could invite 1st. all State placers, 2nd. State Qualifiers, 3rd. District Placers, 4th. District Records. Like Tric does for the SE all-Stars.
Even if you had to bump up a state Placer or qualifier I'm sure you would be putting together a better team than years past. I get tired of hearing how Wood county dominates every year. Last year Ohio State placers/Qualifiers beat the crap out of WV's at this meet. It would be nice to get all the areas best wrestlers so Ohio could prove whos the best.

Ok what you all been waiting on the "INtentive Line up" remeber that during this course of selection that last year this was Washington County vs Wood COunty (WV) so this year I was allowed to go outside the county but during this process I made a promise that One wrestler would be representive from their school, (warren, waterford, marietta, Belpre) The sad thing this year Nate Hupp turned me down to represent Marietta. Coach Walker tried his hardest and I thank him for that. I also like to thank Coach Yinger he loves this sport like I do and hopefuly next ye ar he would help me in getting a great squad for next year and therefor, Next year Ohio Will host this meet, this Marine CHallenge was set for March13th and not by my choice Wv wanted this date and I been rushing to get a line up, and the time will change to 7pm because Wtap is still going to do thid live on TV and which is great for our sport. I thank you all for your comments and who should be in and I tried my best so I hope I have all your support. and make next year bigger with possible of a jr. high team also on the same day. SO here we go the lineup as I have it..

Now im missing these weight classes and need help with solid kids so yes i could bump kids up in the middle weights but I need 145-171, I talked to Athens coach today and he has yet to get back to me, SO please let me know if coachs are reading this if they have kids to fill these weight classes and contact me by tommorow ... or COach Yeinger Call me if Bobby wants to wrestle and some how squeeze him in there and bump kids up 1 weight class...... Thank u guys and I hope i get this right one of these years... its been nerve racking and doing it byurself for Ohio its a hard getting kids , So let me know,,,,, I thank all you coaches for giving me kids/

Nelsonville-York will have Mclaughlin 119, Leitwein 130, D. Hook 135 Z. Hook 135 and moving where needed maybe 145 and Jacob Coon 215. This should be a great event. The main thing is great competetion. I would hope both sides would like a competetive match on both sides. I will be watching from Marion via the web.

Wiggers from Belpre is a pretty good 171. Also Colton Joyce from Trimble (SQ) could probably wrestle 171 or 160 with the extra 8 pounds. Call coach Phil Faires at 740-767-2810 at Trimble for Joyce.

From what I have heard was Southeast Ohio 48 and WV 18. Not sure if this is correct but I heard Southeast Ohio did well.
