ALL GAMES SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21, ARE CANCELLED
All game reschedules will be posted here as they are decided.

1. All District Wrestling Tournaments scheduled to begin on Friday, February 22, 2008, have been moved back to Saturday, February 23, 2008. Same times as Friday. Weigh-ins at 12:00, Wrestling starts at 2:00, Finals at 6:00 Sunday


Why would they not start at 10:00 or 11:00 on Saturday?

Tournament Officials advised Marietta to make the 4 hour drive Thursday night to beat the weather. They took the advice and made the trip last night. Now they have to wait till 12:00 Saturday to weigh-in spend two extra nights in a hotel, and then keep the same schedule with wrestling finals at 6:00 Sunday and awards not till after wrestling is completed. This will mean Marietta and Warren will not get home till midnight or later on Sunday night with school on Monday morning. This is absolutely ridiculous to keep the same time schedule!!

It sure would have been nice of the OHSAA to put Marietta and Warren in the East district and they could have made the 1 hr 45 min drive to Steubenville. Makes a lot more sense
