Big one you you have guys in the wrong weight classes and some guys that don't even start picked to win. You obviously don't know much about most of the teams in the TVC these are not even close in most weight classes.

Stalder 125 does not start Lazear starter, Stalder Athens 140 not 45,Covington 130 not 135 and Robert Norway has not wrestled 152 since his sophomore season. Other than that you are pretty close.

The _Big_One : At 171 you can't count out Belpre's Phillip wiggers for 1st place he's a very good wrestler, by the way didn't he win his match against Athens a few weeks ago? And also at 103 Mclaughlin could take that weight class.

Predictions:

103-Mclaughlin(NY) or Jackson(A)
112-Reed (Waterford)
119-Crock(waterford)
125-Lazear (A) Or D. Hook(NY)
130-Z. Hook(NY)
135-??? If Miller(Waterford bumps up he could suprise some)
140-Smith(Waterford) or Stalder (A)
145-???
152-Mclaughlin (A)
160-Packard (B)
171-Wiggers (B) or Norway (NY)-what is he wrestling?
189-Lockard (Wellston) or Young (A) -Should be good finals match!
215-Grey (Wellston)
285-Jones (Wellston)

Athens
Waterford
Wellston
Nelsonville
Belpre
Meigs
Vinton County
Trimble

Athens will win but won't dominate every weight class. Waterford and Wellston should be a toss up for 2nd and 3rd. Nelsonville could finish in the top 3 depending on if Waterford or Wellston have a good or bad day. Belpre and Meigs should be about right. Vinton County and Trimble are both a toss up for the last two spots.

The _Big_One "do you think packard will stay away from norway at tvc?"

More than likely Norway would stay away from Packard ;-)

Norway has never beaten Packard. The last 2 scores was something like 18-8 and 15-5. Orange and Black is a little closer on most of this. I am sure Mclaughlin will love all the disrespect. It has been told that a coach from Athens told the New Lex coachs that they think Jackson can beat Mclaughlin. they would be crazy not to think that. Every weight class is up for grabs. The next two weeks will be fun. Watch for the cowboy it will be in full force the next two weeks and I don't mean Dallas Cowboys, The head and arm the favorite move of Southeastern ohio wrestling. Yeee Haa. lol

UPDATED PREDICTIONS:

Athens
Nelsonville
Waterford
Wellston
Belpre
Vinton County
Meigs
Trimble
Alexander

Individual Champions
103-Thomas Mclaughlin-Nelsonville
112-Tyler Reed-Waterford
119-Carl Moody-Nelsonville
125-Dakota Hook-Nelsonville
130-Zach Hook-Nelsonville
135-Corey Smathers
140-Ethan Stalder-Athens
145-Calvin Beckley-Vinton County
152-Steven McLaughlin-Athens
160-Ashton Packard-Belpre
171-Phillip Wiggers-Belpre
189-Joey Young-Athens
215-Brandon Grigsby-Vinton County
285-Ernie Welsh-Meigs

As far as team champion it's a fight between Nelsonville and Athens but i think Athens pulls away with the deeper depth. Waterford and Wellston will fight for 3rd and 4th...i could see either one getting in 2nd. 103-Mclaughlin has proved to be a force in 103 winning at the Deno he should sweep through 103. 112-Reed will take. 119-Carl Moody has shown alot what he could do, he tech falled Crock(my last predicted champion last post) 12- Dakota Hook should be in the finals with Lazear from Athens, i think hook will pull out with the win. 130-Zach Hook should win with a finals match against Miller(waterford) or Zinn(wellston) 135-Smathers should have a pretty decent day without a really strong weight class. 140- Ethan Stalder should win 145 Calvin Beckley, Don't know alot about this weight class. 152-Stephen Mclaughlin will win this class with ease.160-Ashton Packard will take this class and most likely have a finals match with Norway from nelsonville both great wrestlers but i believe Packard is far ahead of Norway. 171- Phillip Wiggers is a good wrestler really strong for a 171 if he has a good day he will win this weight class. 189-should be an interesting finals match with Young from Athens and Lockard from Wellston Young winning the Deno should be tvc champ. 215- Brandon Grigsby should take this class. 285- Ernie Welsh has had a pretty good year, and should win take this class. Anything can happen talent in all the weight classes.

Should be a great day of wrestling, hope for a injury free tournament as always!!!

Nelsonville-York has little chance to finish in the top 3 not enough kids. Some of the kids got lucky and caught a couple kids. Look for Waterford and Belpre as 2 and 3 behind the Athens power house.

Tric, don't sell your self short. You guys did a great job at the Deno. D. Hook should have been the finals with Barlow. I watched that match, and watched alot of stalling from Barlow. I would bet that the results will be different the next time. Z Hook is just a beast, I have had the pleasure of watching him for a few years now, and he just keeps getting better. Your 103, 112, and 119 are also good, and then you have Norway, who is great. My pick would be Athens and NY for 1 and 2. Good luck to all.

I like school spirit as much as the next person, but come on. Wellston has some good wrestlers, but I don't see them higher than 3rd or 4th.
