SEO Qualifying to State

D1 Boy's District @ Eagle Sticks:
Individual - Seth Dennis (Sr, Warren) finished in 2nd place at the district competition, but ended up earning the district's state qualifier spot (winner advanced to state in team competition). Dennis finished with a final score of 73, out shooting JB Wharff of Marietta by one stroke.
Team - Tri-Valley earned the district championship, shooting a final score of 316, defeating runner-up Marietta (320) by 4 strokes, to represent the E/SE District at the state tournament.
D1 Girl's District @ Eagle Sticks:
Individual - Libby Aleshire (Jr, Miami Trace) earned medalist honors by 3 strokes, with a total score of 72, which allows her to represent the E/SE combined District at the state tournament.
Team - Marietta won the D1 Girl's E/SE Distrct team championship, posting a final score of 360, to claim the title over John Glenn by 4 strokes, and will represent the district at the state tournament.
D2 Boy's District @ Crown Hill:
Individual - Senior Trevin Mault (Wheelersburg) pulled out a 3-stroke victory to claim the District Championship, shooting a 74, to move onto the D2 State Tournament.
Team - Gallia Academy proved to be victorious, as they will be the boy's golf team representing SEO, as they pulled out a District Championship with a team score of 341, just getting past Fairland by 2 strokes.
D2 Girl's District @ Pickaway C.C.:
Individual - Caitlin Cotterill, a Senior from Meigs, will represent SEO as the girl's individual competitor at state, after she was runner-up and shot an 85. Maddi Shoults (Westfall) was the District Champion after shooting a 72, as her whole team advances to state.
Team - Westfall will be the representative team from SEO in D2, as they cruised to a District Championship, shooting a 376, defeating runner-up Sheridan by 12 strokes.
D3 Boy's Distrct @ Elks C.C.:
Individual - Junior Daulton McDonald (Manchester) claimed an individual District Championship this week to advance to the state tournament, shooting a final score of 74, to win by 1 stroke.
Team - West Union has claimed a team District Championship, as they shot a team score of 328, to advance to the state tournament, defeating runner-up Crooksville by 2 strokes.
