We need to wrap up when making a tackle. Instead of just trying to knock someone down. I seen this several times on ONN when they played Hartley.

Simon Kenton has been outscored 153 to 81 this year.

Simon Kenton 81......... opponents 153

The two teams they have beaten this year have a combined record of 8W-9L

(from their website)

But who knows what the quality of their opponents has been. They may have been very tough.

I wouldn't say the "WEAK" spot but with them being considered D1, you may very well be considered as the weakEST spot on thier schedule.

Good luck Tigers.

You guys should be fine as 6-4 or 5-5 will get you into the dance. I was at the Hartley game last week and was impressed the Tigers kept it fairly close. The Woodley and Sang (rb's) for Hartley are the real deal. I'd like to see Hartley play Kenton in the regionals, that would be one heckuva game. On a side note, I was standing over by the concession stand at halftime last week and #85 who had been hurt in the first half was walking by with another player going to the locker room and I overheard him tell the other kid "they said it might be my acl". Is he gonna be able to play or is he out for the year ? Also, good luck in the playoffs.

I hope it's not true about #85 Jake Rawlins, I've not heard anything on him.

This may be just a game the Tigers need to get their confidence back up.
Block Tackle and play smart and win Tigers you can do it.

Good luck to the Fighting Tigers. Hopefully they are not letting the 2-6 record get in their head. SK has played a tough schedule vs some big KY schools.

Ironton won't be over confident tonight been a tough year for them and a very tough schedule.
One that may pay dividends in the playoffs but we need to win tonight and next week before we talk playoffs.
Confidence is what these Tigers need and I see tonight a win may just do it.
One solid thing is Ironton has been in every game with a chance to win in the Forth quarter except maybe one.
So this is a solid football team over all and one that may be feared in the post season GO TIGERS let's get a big W tonight.

ironton's losses this year are a vitual who's who right now in high school football
ashland, ky-d2
columbus bishop hartley-d3
plain city jonathon alder-d3
jackson-d3
when ironton gets to playing teams their size, they could be a very dangerous draw.
