Ah, the ol' rumor mill. Nope. This will be played at Herrnstein Field.

It's one of the games in the Spielman Gridiron Series. There will be plenty of pink on and around the field, celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness through the Stephanie Spielman Foundation, Adena Cancer Center and more. Cavs are wearing pink jerseys, etc.

Cancer survivors are being admitted free, but you have to call the athletic office 702-2287, ext. 2250 and get your name on the list. Ask for Monica Hitchens.

There will be middle school games played on the field this week and I believe a freshman game, too. The field is in pretty good shape, though.

As for seating, new visitor bleachers were installed the opening week of the season. Plenty of room for Jackson fans.

See you there!

Correction: I misspoke on the jerseys. Forgive me.
The Cavs are wearing their regular unis, only with pink socks and accessories.

I don't know much about Chillicothe's key players this year. Can someone fill me in?

Hopefully their AD doesn't have any eligibility remaining.

Ironman92: LOL... If he had, it would've certainly been used after all the challenges with injuries this season.

I'm going to go with 27/00 with Jackson's kicker getting his first FG in this game

Looks like this rain may make for a sloppy surface on Friday, especially if there are middle school and freshman games at Herrnstein this week. Could definitely be a slow track. The rain should be out of here by Friday morning, which is a good thing though.

The Ironmen have been a very focused football team this season, and they need to continue that this week. They have a chance to clinch at least a share of the school's 22nd SEOAL championship on Friday night. A perfect season and the a playoff berth are also at stake, so the Ironmen must be on top of their game.

Can't wait for Friday to get here.

Playoff teams don't have letdowns this late into the season. Bad terrain should just make them focus more.

Jackson needs to win more than Chilly this week although Ron's defense will keep it from being a blowout. (Jackson 21 - Chilly 7)

Like to see chilly win for the points Ironton can use.
But like to Jackson win and make playoffs and show the State what a good team they have here in SE ohio.
So I will root for you Ironmen to win and make playoffs
