Parking isn't too bad at Athens - they just use the student & faculty lots that the school uses, plus on the side of the road leading up to the school - and then their is a large lot next to the gymnasium ... But we'll see tonight (with a big crowd expected) about how bad or good it is ... I know the folks down at The Plains Elementary will have a hard time finding a spot. Some genious scheduled a big Holloween party for the kids from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm ... The biggest game of the year- thus far - and they schedule a Holloween party and dance at the Elementary school ... Classic move I must say ... Teachers/administrators/aides, etc..etc... will be stuck their probably way after 7:30 ... kids who want to go to the game are having to choose between the party or game (or will have to leave early so they can attend the game).buckfan84 wrote:Gotta agree with you on NY's stadium. The staff is one of the friendliest ever. Band Boosters and Athletic Boosters feed the opposing team after the game. Great place for playoff games. Not sure about Athens hosting a game besides their own this year, parking could be an issue there but it looks like they are putting parking in closer to field.
I hate to keep 'dogging' Athens - but man - some of these decisions and actions just have me scratching my head here.
