someone said it was a tipped/bobbled reception in end zone and a lineman caught the deflection in the endzone but it was ruled incomplete? but if it was a pass how could lineman have caught it in endzone?

Maybe they where inside the five which would make it very easy for a lineman to be in there. on a lot of plays.

Was thought to be a fumble on a pass play and one of our lineman picked it up and ran it in, the refs stood there and debated about it , strange thing was at the end of the play there was signal given or whistle blown and after what seemed to be forever they ruled it incomplete.
We think this was the same crew that officiated at our home game against Jackson and the call down in the end zone that was ruled dual possesion. What ever happened last night is done and it comes down to who wanted to win more, our boys just didn't come out firing on all cylinders.

Finally saw the video, to get the record straight, it was not ruled incomplete, the Warren kid was tackled at the one foot line, after being down tried to fumble it to a teamate, and the sideline official was ruling the try no good before he attempted to fumble the ball to the teamate. The official was not ruling the pass incomplete, but ruling the try no good. #5 Jalen Jones I believe is credited with the game saving tackle.

This photo was taken by our Dana Cousins\wbex.com.
Jeremy Fivecoait was knocked to the turf by Jalen Jones. The ball did jar loose after Fivecoait had hit the ground and was picked up by the offensive lineman, but Fivecoit was down by contact.

He has to maintain possession of the ball even after hitting the ground for it to count as a catch. Wasn't there, maybe that happened.

In HS football, down is down, there is no such thing as down by contact that you might have heard on NFL games.

Why is this still being debated? Fivecoat caught the ball, he was tackled by Jones on the one foot line, after hitting the ground he attempted to fumble the ball to keep the play alive. The ref on the sideline, five yards from the tackle, signaled that the try for two points was no good. It is the same signal that is given when a PAT kick attempt is given that is no good, and the same signal for an incomplete pass. It was not ruled an incomplete pass, the play was called down at the one foot line, and the signal was given for a failed attempt for two points. By the way, that was week eight, this is week ten.
