Wellstonrockets, It doesnt really matter these are just projections from a computer .You must have been looking in a wrong year ,because my curiosity got me and I looked them up ,in 2009 cal prep has Wellston "Projected" to beat Athens .
They have Wellston going 5-5.
I beleive Wellston will win more.

bengalfan,,,If you read my post ,I dont put much stock in Cal prep . Last years game between the Tigers and Wellston was a good game ,won by Waverly . The Tigers ran a punt back in the 3rd qrt and blocked a punt deep in Wellston territory for another score that made the difference in that game 34 -21 if I am not mistaken on the score.
Waverly will have a good team this year,but the best the Rockets play I have to say no. I would put Jackson ,Minford above the Tigers and Meigs and Nelsonville York even with them. JMHO .No dissrespect intended on my part .

Minford spanked Waverly last year and will again shut down you 2 athletes this year for another spanking. You are only kidding yourself.

This Cal preps stuff is based on last years results. This years Rocket team will be much better than last years. The O-line will be as good as any if not the best in the TVC Ohio. This will be a strength for the team,the good thing is the Rockets have more that one option of skill players.Wellston's backfield will have two runningbacks over 200lbs. A quick fullback and a Tailback that is good as any in the area.(See National Underclassmen top 100 in nation) The Rockets have a backup Tailback (also a sohp ) that could and would start for most teams.Wellston will be able to throw the ball as well.Good Qb,and receivers. The key for Wellston will be defense if they improve here the Rockets will not be a easy out for anyone on their schedule.

Anybody who puts a tremendous amount of stock into these Cal Preps predictions is, well....Not saying they won't be wrong, but I don't lose sleep over them that's for sure.
