Post by maniac66 »

most everyone knows who is expected to do well and make playoffs this year but who is your pick to make it and surprise everyone with not only a winning season but a run to make the playoffs?

I think the way Adena gained strength last season,,they woulda made some noise if they got into the playoffs.....maybe they will take care of buisness this season.

If chesapeake plays every game like last night they could be scary thought it would have been a closer game against oak hill knew oak hill lost alot but still thought they would play better than they did.
But then again maybe chesapeake is just that good next few games will tell

Chesapeake, Adena, and South Gallia are all good picks. Adena is loaded with experience and was a loss away from making it last year though.

Chesapeake and Adena do not seem like Cinderellas to me. South Gallia, on the other hand, comes to the field with about 22 players, as near as I could count. I am a long time RV fan but whether anyone wants to admit it or not, we could not do anything with them. I think they will fit the definition if they stay healthy. 22 is not very many, one team each way in fact. I wish them well.

agree with Chesapeake. OVC championship is going to come down to week 10 imo Chesapeake vs. Coal Grove is gonna be a heck of a game.

Agreed i don't think people will realize how good SG is until they line up against them. IMHO RV played them well only giving up 3 scores.
Next year will be a different story though i think 12 or 13 of the kids of the 22 are SR's i hope they have a team next year, lol

Going undefeated in the league,,thrashing nearly every team,,and not making the playoffs..last season,,was the point i was making.

This may be their year not only in the SVC...lol

--------------------------------------------------------------i agree with you and see possibly the winner of this game making a nice playoff run, if they are not 1 dimensional.
