Sorry to say but the Pointers are in a down year. They are trying but the personnel are just not there. Keep it close but I have to go with the Grove in this one. Can't wait until the 8th 7th and 6th graders now get in high school I am predicting a playoff apperance in 2013!

That's why he's the best player in South Point. . . because he's related to YOU, right? :122249

No.. If you would just go watch a SP middle school game you'd see why he's the best player there..

I don't know that a middle school kid is going to sway the outcome of this game...

Coal Grove 48
South Point 32

Grove Defense has been suspect all season.
The offense has scored enough to win (even the Minford game, 28 point should be enough for a so called playoff team).

If the Grove makes playoffs their defense must drastically improve or it will be one and out.

I may be wrong but were you the one that said RJ was going to Ironton for this season and last time I checked he is still at good ole sp.

Idk what grade he is in but if he does go to fairland they need him if he will still be in middle school cause south point made them go back home crying with a 40-0 win.

but this thursday chesapeake @ south point for the OVC championship both teams are undefeated great game for the future of the OVC

It was actually a 22-2 win.....check yourself man, oh and in the 7th grade game Fairlands seventh grade sent south points first team with the exception of alberts and a few more home with a 20-6 loss(not sure of the score on the 7th grade game)

Sorry about that I did not attend just heard form someone but the fact is they won and fairland lost.So how does sp win 22-2 if fairlands 7th grade plays the first team and wins 20-6. Thats confusing so I might be wrong but sounds like they either played sp 7th grade and you thought it was the first team or they only had the first team playing in spots they have no one to play which should not be that many. But oh well sp won and fairland lost.

It happened that way...maybe you can answer the question of why did the fairland seventh grade beat the south point eight grade??? Is it true that south point is a one or two man team??? well it seems that way, and if that is the case then south point has no success comin in the near future...takes everyone on the team to win the game

Well I know rj is a year older than all of the other kids bc he stayed back in 8th grade..
But I talk to the alberts kid all the time and he tells me he's coming to fairland after football season..
He asked me if he could play football at fairland if he moved in the middle of the season n I wasn't sure if that's a rule in Ohio or not..
But who knows well see what happens.
