This past season was a heck of a ballgame between the 2 teams...the year before was as well....both games decided by 7 points or less, with that being said south point lost alot of talent off last years team and so did fairland, but fairland brings back a few better athletes that are play makers and they are all playing together, that is why fairland will win this one

Well of course Fairland should beat South Point by at least 3 touchdowns; the Pointers are way down this year.

Back on topic, I think Chesapeake can and will win this game.

Defense needs work on Secondary, and offense needs work staying on the field longer, defense can't stay on the field most of the game and expect to win. Players
need to start catching the ball and blocking and tackling better. Rockhill did better in the second half after they made a few changes.Don't give up boys you will win one soon. keep your Heads high!!!!!! Rock Hill Fan.

I'd love to go with Rock Hill here; I like their coach, I like their fans. But I just can't go with a team that's lost 19 straight games going back to 2007. They don't know how to win. They're good enough to get a lead or play even, but they just don't know how to finish yet.
I do still think they can win 3 games this year, but if they get blown out this friday, they'll probably only beat River Valley in the last game of the year.

I believe RH will have a hard time stopping Peake in the 1st half. Peake hung with CG in the 1st half, but the bigger, stronger Hornets wore them down in the 2nd half, enabling them to score easily on several big plays. But I don't believe RH has the "hosses" to wear Peake out as Valley, West, & CG have. Plus, Peake oughtta be healthier, with several flu-weakened players returning to form.

CG scored several times with screen passes to the flats. RH might take a cue from that, but I expect the CHS coaching staff will address that prob in practice during the week. BTW, CG has run similar plays successfully against Peake for several years, even when Peake was beating the Hornets regularly.

And RH has had probs with Peake, even in their "glory years" of the late 90s-early 2000s, in the days of K. C. Christian & Co.

Peake notches their 2nd win by at least 2 TDs.

It's not my fault I know what I'm talking about, you should just keep it down a lil bud n sit back n relax, kinda like you did your whole HS career on the bench!!!!

You get on here and talk about Fairland football. I dont think I've ever seen a post that you've made that didnt talk about Fairland in some way. Go get on Fairlands forum and talk about them this is a Chesapeake Rock Hill forum.

I'm going to have to say Rock Hill comes away with their first win Friday.

Actually the last post I had was that RH needs to get the blagg kid the ball more..
And they need to give Davis the ball as well.

You're right. They HAVE TO establish the running game. They haven't been able to run the ball effectively since the '07 season. McCollister is a good QB, but he and the receivers can't do it alone.
