I don't throw jabs at NY. You're refering to the Ironton/NY thread. Ironton is going to win that game with ease. Now. . . lets stay on topic and talk about the Chesapeake/Fairland game.

This is one of the great rivalries of Lawrence County lore! :-D

Fairland wins this one again. And not trying to bash but Davis lets his assts do 99.9% of the coaching and God knows that every kid in 3 states knows that Chesapeake is going to run a 32 trap. It's just one of those things retirement is coming up, talent is on a minumim, and there isn't alot of heart or school spirit/pride (I'm not saying that none of them have any but it's not alot). It is what it is.

Chesapeake ahead of Fairland @ halftime 14-6 (This would definitely throw a monkey wrench in their playoff hopes and if they would beat Coal Grove next week there may not be an OVC team in the playoffs !!!!!)

Congratulations, you picked the correct final score. Holding penalties cost the Dragons the win.

Congrats on the win CHS, series is now tied at 29 wins each and 1 tie.

I don't think any of you can shut JL up! FHS just planed sucked tonight. Chesy played keep away from the dragons quick strike offense. Way to many mistakes for the dragons. The D looked awful and the O wasn't much better. IMO the dragons have not gotten better as the year has progressed. The play calling for the dragons was questionable all night. Why try a qb sneak with no timeouts at the end of the first half. Bloomfield hardly touched the ball the first half. But give credit to the Panthers they just wanted it more than the dragons and played a near perfect game. If the D does not get better than it has been the last 2 games CG will run the score up and beat us by 40!

Hate the big heads on this site! 6 and 2 Fairland is going to the Playoffs and everbody loves Carrol a loss to Peake and they are 6 and 3 now Fairland fans hate him and they may not get in! Please lets here more excuses why Chesapeake beat Fairland!! How many 1st year coaches may make mistakes? I sure hope this win for the Panthers get not very good Panther Fans off of Coach Davis's back b/c obviously umm 32trap and the run up the middle was working and that made the hole on the outside even bigger!! Good Job Peake!!

Its Safe to say that this Rivalry is now called "Battle For The Joe Smith Helmet"!!

Hey no big heads here Peake!Congrats to you guys on the win!No excuses we just were not in the game all night! But the Dragons are far ahead of where they are in years past!We have to bounce back from this and get focused and get ready for the Grove and hopefully win a share of the OVC which was our goal all along!Playoffs would have been the icing on the cake but we have to work hard this week and try to get a share of this title!I am proud of what our kids have accomplished this year,Most wins since 2003!
