People seem to forget things like that while others want to act like those things to do not occur.

How many students who are not playing sports get financial aid that go to a private school?
I do not know that is why I am asking.

How many public schools help aid the parent of a “new student” find a job in the community?
Again I do not know that is why I am asking.

How many people whine and cry on here about prviate schools? With open enrollment now days if you have a good coach and good program then kids will come to your school recruited or not. Another question for is how many private schools have teams that are not so good? the way you people cry about the private schools they should all be winners cause they have unfair advantage. May be it was easier for them to get kids in before but it is just as easy to get them at a public school. It all starts with have a good coach and program.

There should be a system set up to where if a child from another district transfers in...that the school moves up by a percentage toward the next division...such as indiana and Tennessee does to keep things fair...or there should be a separate private school division...Other than the Large School Division this year...did any public school win a title...?..haven't looked sorry...didn't have the interest when I saw how the private schools were dominating again...I know that Coaching can only go so far when the starting 22 kids come from a combination of eleven or twelve schools...and the fact that the games were played all the way in bfe again..don't believe I will take my vacation money out to drive to see the championships...The beach is only two hours further...While we have the best venue in football sitting empty in the center of the state...I believe it's time that something is done about the management of the OHSAA...this is becoming ridiculous...I believe their should be some sort of an investigation on who is getting paid under the table..

I stilll think every school in the state should have to give the O.H.S.A.A. a list of transfers they receive and then the OHSAA should put on their website so all can see.

Again this would add to or take away from the all of the recruiting talk.

Don't all transfers have to be approved by the OSHAA before they can participate in sports at the new school? I was thinking the new school's AD had to get them approved.

Stop crying and bellyaching about Public vs. Private.

Why do we have 6 divisions ?????

$$$$$$$$$$$

You gotta feed the monster known as the OHSAA

The whole thing with the expansion of the playoffs from the original 1970's format of AAA, AA, A with 1 team qualifying per region to the format of today with 6 divisions and 8 qualifiers per region revolves around the OHSAA income production!

This is a really silly thread now.

Why do kids transfer to Ironton, because they want to be a part of a winning tradition---same with schools like Mooney. Kids will continue to go to schools like Mooney, St. Xavier, Stubenville, Clv. St Iggy, etc because if the competition and exposure.

Should a school with 120 boys really be subject to playing schools with 800? If you think so go back to kindergarten. Use simple logic.

If Mooney played a schd of a GCL team then no they would not run the table like they do now, but they also do not have 800 boys either.
