There is no doubt Slone will run buck wild this year, but for sure we need strong linemen to step up.

Should be a very good year in the backfield. Should be a great mixture of speed and power between Sloan, Gaines and Piquet. I would think Butcher will do some damage from the QB spot with his legs and arm too.

I look for the pass completion percentage to pick up this year as I believe Butcher will work well in a short to mid-passing game plan. Throw in some play actions passes and I think the skill positions will offer some serious threats. Everyone knows what the key to success will be. Part of it is experience, which is hard to replicate.

You cant go 8-2 every year , especially in that league. I think the coach At Minford (Daniel I think is his name) has a good thing going. He has the kids working hard and beleiving in his system. This will produce good seasons when the talent may not be there . I wish them luck and good health in 2010.

Now that the basketball season is over for Minford, the weight room should be getting packed. Any news on numbers, size, transfers, lift records? Only 3 months until the lift-a-thon.

I don't see how, but I'm open for discussion. Why?

Looking at the schedule I can see a 1-9(NW is on the schedule) just as easily as a 10-0 record :-D

I agree completely. It's all up to the boys. They have to turn potential into success.

Havent heard alot of numbers but I do know Seniror Rb/CB JP Piguet benched pressed over 300 lbs the other day. Which is pretty good for his frame.

That pretty good for a lineman, let alone a corner!

He's a runningback, not a lineman.

I heard this to and happend to see him a few days ago. By looking at how much bigger he is now I think it could very well be true
