I really don't see a 150 pund guy from SG doing 320. I know weights and I know it can be done at that weight but I would love to see a high schooler doing that at his weight. Sorry

The bench press is not just a brute strength weightlifting exercise. There is a lot of technique involved in its performance. With a good arch, timing and a uber-tight shirt a 320-lb. bench press is not unreasonable for a 150 lb. kid. If you are talking about the kid I think you are, I did not know he had gotten that high, but he was close to 300 the last time I had seen him lift.

There is absolutely no doubt that Jason Peck is busting his hind end doing everything he can to make the football team at South Gallia better. That is just how Jason is. Everything he does, he does to the best of his ability with hard work! I hope things go well at SG this fall.

You are prob talkin about the same kid I'm talkin about his senior year he put up 320 once with a bench shirt on. Derrick beaver and Dewey Cantrell both weigh about 145 to 150 and were benching about 250.

I can't see randy ashworth weighing 150, I'd say hes more like 135 but Ive saw him bench the 320 before.

With a new coach and a good junior class how will the Rebels do?

I personally think the Rebels will do okay, they are working hard in the weight room and the boys respects Coach Peck . I can't wait to go and watch them it should be an exciting year, In closing I want to wish Coach Peck and the Rebels Good Luck and don't let what others say knock you all down, I believe in you all I guess that is REBEL PRIDE TALKING. Good Luck to Coach Peck and to the Rebels!! I believe they will do every good this year.
But who are their seniors?
And yes i have heard alot about Jacob White,But i wanna see if he can bring to the table what everyones saying.Duke, Phillips, Lyon, Haner,The Matneys,Northup,Combs,Cooper should all do every well. I have seen them play in the past and they all are very talented boys!!
