Will Warren Play Marietta this fall?

Marietta is still in the SEOAL for one more year, so yes, Warren will play Marietta this fall.

I have not heard if the series will continue as a non-league game after that or not. Last I heard, it was up in the air.

My guess is that it will continue. Good moneymaker for both schools.

Both schools are hoping to make the series continue.

The game for the upcoming season is scheduled for October 29, it's the final game of the regular season, just like the (really) old days when Warren would conclude with rival Belpre.

Both schools would be nuts to let the series die, it's a GREAT gate for both sides. My guess is that we'll know something once Warren has hired someone to fulfill scheduling duties, as we will no longer have a singular "athletic director" after this school year.

But I'd be shocked if they didn't play in 2011.
