Hey guy's, Just think if Ironton would have stay in the Great SEOAL they would have had a 10 game schedule! Good luck, how about Canada!

The beauty of it all, I just love it! Just hope your 9 game schedule will not hurt Ironton playoff chances!

As a proud Ripley grad, I would love to see an Ironton-Ripley matchup. However, the Vikings already have a 10 game schedule for 2010. As for 2011, who knows? But as someone close to the RHS program told me, "I don't think they'd give up a home date PLUS pay rent to Laidley to play there."

I bet Ironton will lose at least $37.55 in ticket sales and concessions from not having a 10th SEOAL game.

South has 10 games,
so does Ripley,
only WV school that needs a game that matches that open date is Bluefield.

Wow, What a nice place to visit today.
I came away very impressed with the Stadium and that wall was great.

Ashland looks to be really good again this year. Maybe another great game.

You are right, I think Ashland is going to be really good again this year and this game should be a real slobber knocker.

If I didn't already have that footlong sub from Subway bet, I'd bet you that Ironton knocks them Ashland Tomcats back to reality this year....there will be no posing under the scoreboard at Tank Stadium by the Tomcats in 2010!

The Ironton Ashland game will be an emotion filled game. Ironton leaves no doubt I'm thinking Ironton by two scores. It will probably be another 19 years for the tigers to have another game like last years, sorry tomcat fans.

Let's not also over look the fact that...this game will be Ironton's 4th game and it's first homegame of the year. You KNOW there's going to be some serious emotion there!

Some people might think that is funny but I don't. The kids need a 10 game schedule and so do the fans. Ironton should have thought about this when they pulled out of the SEOAL.

While I did intend to be a little funny OSU 77, I was..at the same time, serious and I personally believe there's a lot of truth there. In the long run, I believe this game not being played (representing being out of the SEOAL) will probably put thousands upon thousands in Ironton's pockets as the SEOAL was draining the coffers like a vampire at a blood bank. I'm fairly sure why the administration at Ironton got out of the league?
