I will go with Piketon this year. Waverly lost two of their best offensive coordinators. History favors Waverly.

M46, really, keep it down would you? Let your talking walk on the field. I for one dont think Coach Gullion would appreciate the comments!

This is a very important game for both teams. Both teams are unproven with difficult schedules, and you have to get the mojo going in the right direction quickly with these young bucks. I think both teams are similar in their development thus far, and if history is any indication, any blowout score is way off base. Defense will be the key in this ballgame. I don't think either offense has found their identity in the preseason. I see a low-scoring ballgame, with field position being the deciding factor.

we saw 54-53 so how about this year we see a 7-6 dog fight! Home field advantage gets the extra point

Don't know much about either team except for what I've heard thru the grapevine. Hoping for a good, clean game with the Red Streaks prevailing in the end. GO STREAKS!!!

Looks like Waverly is the decided underdog just like two years ago.

Well Piketon has to win these next two years so we can break even and start over with another 4 year contract. Its a good game for both schools. Half the kids are friends or related and eat at the same Mcdonalds. Lets woop some tiggers! Lol

smurray, I dont know who you were taking to 2 years ago, but I for one never had the spread more than 2 or 3 points either direction for the last 2 years of these teams playing. Once again this year I have the same thoughts, no clear cut favorite IMO.

Two years ago was to be Piketon's year and Waverly was really unproven after losing 17 or so seniors including All State QB Trevor Walls. Expectation were very high with that Piketon squad and I will say "MOST" people picked and truly expected Piketon to win that game.

With the talk on here and around Pike County it appears Piketon is again the pick in this game.

Waverly has a ton of question marks entering week one and a very tough schedule the rest of the way.

Wow looks like the kids need to spend more time at practice and less time on the computer.
take two weeks off here and look at the crap on here. My guess Piketon by 14. 26-12.
If you think West wont put a smack down on Waverly dont go to the game. They are for real.
