What exit do you take to get to the stadium?

Go to the far entrance---they will have a policeman there and then someone will let you know where to park

First of all I an not from Logan but have always enjoyed watching their storied program over the last 30 plus years. You have had some down years, but way more great seasons than down.

To compare this years team to past teams is not fair to them or the teams in the past. Their are so many variables that are sometimes overlooked. The other schools may have an exception class of players this year, the level of your team may be down some. That doesn't mean that they want to lose or start 0-4. It doesn't mean that they haven't worked hard in the off season or during the two a days. I am just saying that for what ever reason they have had a rough start. They could be trying to hard to please everyone and maintain the high expectations that teams before them have had. It is now the time to support the players, coaches and everyone that work to make Logan Football what it is. They don't need to read all the negative things being said about them from their own people of their community. It is easy to support a winner, but it takes a fan to support the team. Again I am not from Logan, but it really is amazing so many downing a program that has been so good to everyone. I do know what it is like to play on a 0-10 team as well as a 10-0 team. The real fans were there in the 0-10 season as well as the 10-0 season. So just support your team no matter what happens the rest of the season. For some of the players, this is their last year to play on a Logan team. Good Luck to a great Program..... Past, Present and Future

I think that Logan needs to put some points on the board early coupled with some short drives by Marietta. The concern I have for Logan is an early score or two by Marietta. With the way the season has gone to this point for the Cheiftans, an early hole could cause the "here we go again" mentality to kick in.

Good luck cheifs!!

Marietta has scored on its opening possession in each of its first 4 games ...

IMO they are like Logan, they can score but can't stop anybody ..

The stats tell that story. Both teams have given up nearly 1000 yards rushing this season through 4 games, not good.

Logan has been extremely balanced on offense and the Tigers have been fairly balanced as well, but they do look to run first.

Marietta has committed only 2 turnovers all year. Thats a recipe for winning games.

But if you think about it (and last week is a perfect example), most of that yardage surrendered was on long, break-away runs. It's not like Logan's defense is giving up 7-8 yards per play consistently. If they could get better control of the line of scrimmage and make sure tackles, they could easily cut down on those long runs. It gets back to fundamentals and tackling and that sounds like what they are working on this week.

Seems like everyone plays too close to the line--a speedy back get one break and they are gone--if a fast reciever can be gone.

dazed&confused wrote:I think it is despicable to say these kids don't care whether they win or lose. "These kids" worked hard and waited patiently the last few years to get their chance to play. They went through two-a-days, practices after school and off-season conditioning just like the kids did who rolled up the wins before them. They accepted their mission this season with the same expectations all Logan players have down through the years. I never played for Logan nor had any connection to the program other than my son who graduated last year. And I can recite Logan's goals from heart:
1) 10-0
2) Win league
3) State playoffs
4) State Championship

Every year it is the same. Has the team fallen short of those goals (not all so far); yes. Do they have heart? Yes. You only get so many Friday nights on the field and they want to make the best of it like anyone would. To say they "don't care" is awful. How do you know? Are you a player who thinks this? Do you have some special connection to the team that you can state this with some certainty? Or are you a fan who lives vicariously through them and makes this assertion from the seat of your pants. A seat which may or may not be in the stadium on Friday night? Yes, we have been spoiled by the last few years. Who wouldn't? But when you question the heart and character of athletes who sacrifice so much just to be a part of this program, who desire nothing more than a chance to shine on Friday nights before their family and community, well then you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror my friend. Get a life!
I'm a senior playing for logan right now. Well said and thanks for the support.
