Tigers were WAY more physical, especially up front. Our backs were quite a bit more physical too. Our QB had an excellent game and that should shut the hater on here up. Just what I was rooting for. Way to go fellas, great bounce back.

Wow I am glad I skipped the Minford vs Northwest game to watch this one.

#7 and #30 for Ironton both had great games. Hartley had a very big and athletic looking line, but Ironton dominated them and played with way more heart all game long.

I think Ironton will win the region, especially with Trevon Pendleton getting hurt tonight for West Portmouth. I think Coshocton is the only real issue from Ironton walking into the semi finals.

Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the way.

Great Job Tigers.........this should solidify a Home Game in the 1st round of the Playoffs. Now that was some Power running tonight from the Tigers, carrying Defenders down the Field for extra yardage on several runs way to keep those Legs a churning.

Good Luck to Bishop Hartley the rest of the year. Next up (7-1) Fairbanks who won tonight 48-8

GO TIGERS.................

Great win, Tigers. I am not surprised by the point spread. Keep on winning.

Gotta say that breath had seen both teams and called this one correctly.

Now, nonut, I mean sportnut on the other hand has a little CROW TO EAT. He was quite wrong with his prediction. If I recall correctly, which I am certain I am because I just went back a few pages and read his sorry posts again, nonuts, I mean sportnut said something about Ironton having "no QB" and that he was "there because of name only".

Well I am not sure if you were at the game nut, I am guessing not because it doesn't sound like you have ever seen the Tigers play, but #7 had a dang good game. PERIOD.

Now would be a good time for you to apologize to a 17 year old.

You hit the nail on the head with this one IT90...........#7 along with the entire team played a great game against some very good competition. The Fighting Tigers made a statement last nite, not much more you can say about that. Now on to week 9 and let's get a lock on a home game in the first round of the playoffs :!:

You had the 3 TD's right, just had the teams backwards. Hi Haters!

It was, however video shows that it really didn't happen. But he will return tonight. GO TIGERS!!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------i talked with tres' mom friday. the official was not from jackson, but from waverly. he has been in fact fined. and cannot work any playoff games. so it's time to lay this to rest , the films show nothing happened, and the official was dealt with accordingly.

i was very pleased last night with the tigers, and their offensive play selections, we ran roughshod over hartley, but run around them and passed as well. proving that we can get wide on people and vertical. and our defense did an outstanding job. that was great fighting tiger football to watch, fullbacks carrying people downfield. qb making things happen with his legs and arm. great defense. great effort by the tigers.

Ok I do not know the full story of whats being said about #7 and the rest of the team but I do know how it feels to be on the receiving end of the haters mouthing. My husband and brother-in-law were approached about being the one downing this kid. I myself have only attended 3 games this yr. and the two mentioned above follow Ironton football every game every where. Anyone that puts any kid down needs to take a reality check and if they are not there to support the kids then just stay home. #7 and the rest of the team, I want to apologize for the immature haters that need to learn to keep their mouths shut unless they have something positive to say. Keep your heads high and stay focused on your game. The wins talk for themselves. Go Tigers. Carry on the Ironton tradition. This Lady Tiger mom is rooting for all Tigers.

Using KVDW's absurd logic, OSU's schedule really isn't that great....they only play teams from their division:)

#7 7-0 Carlisle 13.0929 32.5 84.5 100
#8 5-2 Waynesville 12.1714 21.5 91.0 100

1 Clarksville Clinton-Massie (13) 7-0 278 2 vs. Washington Court House 2 Akron Manchester (7) 7-0 271 3 vs. Navarre Fairless
3 Middletown Bishop Fenwick (4) 7-0 230 4 @ #4 Kettering Archbishop Alter
4 Kettering Archbishop Alter (4) 6-1 178 5 vs. #3 Middletown Bishop Fenwick
5 Genoa Area (2) 7-0 175 6 vs. Millbury Lake

7 Plain City Jonathan Alder (1) 6-1 113 10 @ Dayton Ponitz
8 Elyria Catholic (1) 6-1 110 1 @ Cleveland Central Catholic
9 Cincinnati North College Hill 7-0 63 NR @ Cincinnati Summit Country Day 10 Bellville Clear Fork 6-1 51 NR vs. Ashland

THE AP is a joke but.. 6 teams in the top 9 in D4R16.. tuff region. wheres D4R15... If JA played a D4 schedule they'b looking in.
good thing they scheduled 2(D1), 3(D3), and 1(D2) anything less.. even with 10 wins.. i'd be tuff .

The road goes thru ALTER.. until somebody can match up with them. It's all theirs.. Massie/JA have the size and speed up front... Last year KA beat JA, didn't think Alter manhandled them.. Simply out coached. and out executed.

look a the leaders in other regions.. they'd have a hard time making in D4R16.. the 8th place teams would be 13th and 14th in R16.

D4R16 8th 5-2 Waynesville 12.1714 8th in D4R16..
D4R13 8th 6-1 Canton Central Catholic 10.2449 In R16.. 9th place
D4R14 -8th 4-3 Galion 7.6429 In R16.. 14th place
D4R15 -8th 3-4 Portsmouth 8.0071 In R16..13th place

these 8th place teams.. would be WAY out in D4R16....

D4R14 leader 6-1 Clear Fork 15.1929 . would be 3rd in R16
D4R15 the great 5-2 Ironton 14.2786 The great Ironton would be 7th .. and be on the bubble.

good luck to both...... pulling for I-TOWN-TIGER win.. give me a T............
Looks like the Tigers would have moved up to #3 in Reg 16...............
